In the area for a bit. Came here with our son and daughter in law. Had a great time. Son won a raffle. Beer was great. Hubby and I had a gyro. Was delicious. Sat inside for awhile. Ventured outside to a shady spot to have our gyros. I would for sure come back here when in the area.
Great beers, patio, food truck, and disc golf course.
Now that I've been I feel like I know what to do there. Everyone was ordering their beer by the number. I had the Blonde Ale (number 18) and it was very good. The food is available outside and the pierogis were very good and the pepperoni pizza puff was really good.
Some of the best sour beers I've ever had! They got the vibes just right here too. Highly recommend.
First off, shout out to the chef back there at DankHouse. I'm big on good food, but he makes amazing food. I didn't catch his name, but it needs to be well known around ohio, and the front of house staff is great. The perogies i got were a great recommendation. Not only is the food amazing, but the disc golf course is well maintained, and the beer is tasty and plenty.
Love this place!
I would give the Brewery 6 stars out of 5 for their Beer offerings. Hands down the best brewery in central Ohio. We are so lucky to have a brewery of this caliber so close to home.
** Cliff Notes - Go for the Beer not for the Food **
*Edit: I have since learned that the Food located on site is not under the managment of the brewery, the Cliffnotes stays the same however.
I have given 4 stars unfortunately because of the food offering, Im not positive if the kitchen is operated by Dank House or if it is a separate entity, but I have to say, Its been a while since i was that disappointed in the food that we paid for while visiting the Brewery.
I had heard rave reviews about the Taco place that was there previously, so i figured that the food would be great. It was anything but. We got a burger, an "italian steak sandwich", fries and fried cauliflower. The fries were probably the best thing we ordered. The Cauliflower tasted like it was pulled from a bag in your grocers freezer, and Im sure the fries were too, but at least they tasted decent. Everything else, was sub par of what you might get at a fast casual restaurant.
Fantastic Brewery with plenty of space for parking and seating. Awesome restaurant onsite with delicious and fair priced food. Newark is lucky to have Dankhouse.
The best IPA options in all over in the center of Ohio
Great vibes, awesome beer and good times with good people.

The best sour beer in Ohio!
Coastal Gardens...best artwork on a can I have ever seen, and the beer met expectations. Was at Dankhouse once before, and we are looking looking forward to returning sometime soon.
One of my favorite places in Newark. I love the sours! They consistently book awesome reggae shows and host fun events like plant bingo. Thank you Dankhouse for being so amazing!
Great times, as always.
Come for the beer- stay for the atmosphere. Aside from the incredible brews which are unique and painstakingly crafted, the staff, atmosphere, location and overall vibe of Dankhouse will keep you coming back time and time again.
