If you're gonna close up shop for good then the rest of newark deserves an explanation. This has been a staple to local downtown for far too long to just abandon everyone without explanation

My colleague recommended this restaurant to me a few weeks ago and I finally had a chance to visit. The menu offers a great variety of the usual staples--I went with the fish sandwich and was not disappointed! Service was friendly and familiar, it felt like it wasn't my first trip there! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the use of cool lighting rather than warm lighting in the dining section. This is totally a *me* thing, but cool lighting feels somewhat post-apocalyptic and makes everything/everyone look sickly. If you've ever seen the Twilight films, you know what I'm talking about! In contrast, my boyfriend was wholly unbothered by the lighting. :)4/5 stars until I return and try something else on the menu, I'm happy to support local!

Awesome mom & pop pizza place but they also offer lunch and other dinners. We had their spicy pepperoni pizza, regular crust. Very good. Prices are right, staff was very friendly and the food was great. Will return again and again.
