DeFelice Bros Pizza - Newark

My family grew up eating DeFelice pizza! Every time I go home or my parents come to Columbus they bring me DeFelice pizza! My husband grew up in Columbus and loves my hometown pizza! We were in Newark for a visit and we decided to try the DeFelice in Newark on our drive back. The pizza was ready before the quoted time which was great! It tasted just like home! The crust, sauce and cheese were so delicious even after driving back 30 minutes. My favorite is the sauce and my husband loves the crust. It was consistent and tasted just like other DeFelice stores back home in the valley. The owner who is also from the valley was so kind! We bought a cookie for our toddler and he gave it to us for free. He definitely gave “small town” service and I could tell he really cares about his customers and pizza shop. Our only hope is that you open a DeFelice closer to the Columbus area! It was so nice having the best pizza in the valley available in Newark! We will definitely be back to visit the next time we are in Newark!

Amazing quality pizza and service. The staff was very polite and informative about how they handle their gluten free options for people with allergies. Would take the whole place back to where I came from if I could

To be fair I only tried the pan style pizza. Didn't care for that style, but it wasn't my order. Taste was good, I will try another style.

Smelled excellent but we did not know it was carry out only. The hotel didn't mention it.

Personable and friendly service.

I wanted to love it! I got the deep dish and while the flavor was good, it had a lot of sauce on top. The pepperoni were so dry and crispy, it was as if they had been sitting out for a long time. Disappointed.

Great pizza and friendly staff. Also, do yourself a favor and get a cookie.

This pizza shop was very inconsistent in the beginning. They seem to have gotten it together when it comes to consistency and service. They make a great thicker crust pizza which is hard to find in this area and the service is always friendly and polite.

First time buying a pizza from DeFelice Bros, and it won't be my last.
Taste reminded me of old-school Pizza Hut pizza.
