I moved back here from Mount Vernon and was really excited that there was a location here as well because, the all meat Pizza was just like awesome there in Mount Vernon and that's the only pizza that I would eat. So fast forward, I ordered from here and couldn't believe how unbelievably disappointed I was. For one, they didn't put even half the amount of toppings on it that they do in Mount Vernon and it was completely covered with salami and pepperoni and then they sprinkled lightly, the other meat toppings on top but you couldn't taste them because the salami and pepperoni was so overpowering. So unfortunately I won't be eating my favorite pizza here!!! It's really too bad because I would have thought that they would have been the same right? Not even close!

my very first time ordering from here. i ordered a blt sub which menu stated bacon lettuce tomato and chedder cheese. I got the sub and it was a ton of bacon bits. very salty i just didnt care fot it. So i called them and told them I didnt care for it and asked if I could possibly get another sub. The guy I spoke to said it was against their policy and he couldnt switch the subs. Didnt offer a refund or anything:( I wont be ordering from here again.

I have been ordering dirkos since the 90s. The Stromboli and pizza are exactly the same now as they were then. Great tasting food and always friendly staff. The prices are reasonable for the portions.

I’m not sure what’s going on with all of the negative reviews, but I can’t say the same as others. I love this Dirko’s as well as every other location they serve-Johnstown and Mount Vernon. Service is always great-people are nice and quick to place my order and make it a simple process. My food has always been ready before the estimated time, and is still 100% fresh! Prices are insane for how good their food is. Large quantities for each thing you get-you genuinely get more than you pay for. The garlic bread and the Stromboli are my absolute favorite.

1st time ordering from Dirkos, I ordered 2 XL pizzas and wings for pick up. When I picked up my order I noticed the pizzas were pretty small. For 17 inch. When I talked to the guy taking orders, he laughed and said, "Oops, they put large instead of extra large...... it will be 45 minutes if you want us to remake them. The hype doesn't match up to the service ?. You can find better and local owned pizza around.
