We drove 45 minutes for their ice cream nachos and they did not disappoint!! This place is so fun and the lady working was super nice. We will definitely be back!

Edit/update: After coming in and speaking with the manager, I really appreciate that he listened to me and addressed my concerns. While I still think that an up charge for a sugar cone is ridiculous, it means a lot to me that I felt that I was heard. I don’t go out for ice cream much but I’d go back there. I did take it upon myself to go to a local grocery store and compare the prices of cake cones to sugar cones in the same brand and there wasn’t much in the way of a difference, but, I like the atmosphere and I like the quality of the product and I’d be back. I like to support “this small guy” meaning small and local.
Original review: An up charge of anything for a sugar cone is ridiculous. I’ve never seen such a thing and I’ve traveled all over the country and into several others recently and bought ice cream within the last month.. Their prices are really high compared to other ice cream places in Columbus or Newark. I left a message to have the manager call me and the girl working there said I’d have to put my email address in and I said no I’m not doing that, and expect a tip on top of the charges they have is ridiculous. It’s that they shouldn’t be charging fair prices. It’s not a fair. But even after I made my feelings known, they were skimpy on my two scoop ice cream and then when I walked out the door part of my ice cream spilled so I went back for them to fix it. They just they obviously didn’t like my attitude, but they could’ve done something to me. The girl said have a better day, but the thing is I had a really great day until I got to the ice cream shop and I was like you gotta be freaking joking . I told them I said this is supposed to be good experience but man they’ve priced themselves right out of Newark I think, and I don’t think I’ll be back. There are other choices. The people were initially friendly, but they were only friendly if I was giving them good feedback and they skimpy. It was expensive. It’s just not upscale enough to be charging that much. The ice cream itself was very good , the experience was not. The place is clean and well decorated.
Great little ice cream shop. Pretty busy, and only two employees. So it wasn't overly fast, but it was worth the wait. Fun ice cream options, good milkshakes.

Nice ice cream shop. For a long time, the hours were horrible. Looks like the shop has new business hours but I would call and check before going.
Ice cream was good. Nothing special, it has its own twist on various creations. They were out of some of the favors we wanted.
The inside is welcoming. Service was good and quick.
Probably won’t go back because it’s pricy. I can get my ice cream fix nearby for half the price. If you’re into fancy ice cream mix, then this is a good place for you.

Hidden gem in downtown Newark, Ohio. My fiancé and I stopped in to get some ice cream. Employees greeted us as soon as we entered the store. The environment is more than welcoming. I would recommend the Court’s Favorite. We will be returning. Definitely a must try!
