Atmosphere is straight out of the 1970's! Which is a good thing, donuts are fried fresh in house (a rarity nowadays) with an assortment of other freshly baked pastries. A Newark staple.

Employees are always kinda rude. Every time I go. And who puts a dozen donuts in a small box? This is what my donuts looked like when I got home. Smh, just kinda gross. And sure maybe they’re okay to eat, but they don’t look appealing at all.
We stopped at Jolly Pirate Donuts on our way to Columbus for the weekend after hearing about it from their neighbors at Smile More Laundry and Tan! The donuts are very very good! So good we stopped again on our way back home to grab some for family to try! Both times we went, the ladies who were working were very kind, patient and helpful!
10/10 recommend trying! Our family recommends the maple stick, peanut butter filled, and the chocolate with sprinkles!
Kid-friendliness: At our second visit they were out of the donuts that had chocolate and sprinkles out daughter wanted but the girl who was working was very kind and made her one!
