Atmosphere is straight out of the 1970's! Which is a good thing, donuts are fried fresh in house (a rarity nowadays) with an assortment of other freshly baked pastries. A Newark staple.
We stopped at Jolly Pirate Donuts on our way to Columbus for the weekend after hearing about it from their neighbors at Smile More Laundry and Tan! The donuts are very very good! So good we stopped again on our way back home to grab some for family to try!
Both times we went, the ladies who were working were very kind, patient and helpful!
10/10 recommend trying!

The young man who helped me was extremely polite and told me about how they make the donuts fresh daily and he seemed very excited about working there and he was very proud by it, you don't find those kinda kids everyday, KEEP HIM around!! The donuts were indeed delicious and tasted FRESH! Prices were very affordable, brought back some great memories...
