I sincerely doubt if the Kroger business owners even care. This Kroger store in my neighborhood of Newark Ohio, has continuously deteriorated with it's customer service since opening. Slow checkouts and empty shelves are the most aggravating. When standing in line and looking at well over half of the checkout isles shut down it just serves to aggravate my tolerance. Today's visit prompted me to download and make my very first YELP review in my life. Employees at this location seem to hate their job with a passion. "We can't find employees" they say. Well hell no you can't when you suck their life out from the minute they clock in. No managerial support in sight most times. But because we have to eat, they continue to thrive at the expense of their employees and patrons. SMH!

Nothing to see here, just a bourbon run. Unfortunately nothing worked out and I left empty handed. While out of town if I have time I will often scout bourbon especially from other states. Kroger has a great reputation for liquor pricing, so why not. I walked straight back to the booze but unfortunately they had nothing of interest. All good and part of the hunt. I was not mad. So in the future if back in this rural area of Ohio I would not object to trying them out again.

Horrible service inside the store. Its a very modern store but doesn't take apple pay. Kids coughing on produce items. Kids opening items and eating them just to put them back. Power went out. Bathroom floor is flooded and covered with pee and p**** And was made very uncomfortable by the lack of masks in the store. Considering half of the customers are coughing, wouldn't be surprised if i get sick.

This store has consistently gone downhill. Slow checkouts. Questionable raw product handling standards in fresh meat and seafood case. Though really great produce section.

I had appointment at 6 pm to get COVID-19 shot from online and arrived 545 as sign says COVID-19 line so I went on line. Service was slow as staffs talked too much. Finally, talk with staff and show them I have appt at 6 and told me go to little clinic. Waiting for staff called as I show the nurse as I have appt at 6 after waiting til 615 and will get with me soon but end up waiting til almost 7 pm as I can see inside the room 2 or 3 people talked as there is lot of people writhing everywhere which unprofessional!! I will never go back there as they are sucks!!!

A pretty standard Kroger. Big inside, big parking lot. Well-organized and clean. I found what I wanted, on sale, and there were lots of other things I could have gotten if I'd been doing my normal shopping. No customer service interactions because I found what I needed and used self-checkout. Reasonable sale prices (always my peeve at Kroger- normal prices are high.)

I have a problem with their milk products. The container said expires Oct.1st. It went bad on 9/24 .This is not the first time either. I live alone and can't drink all the milk in just one week. . They need to inspect their milk before they put it in the casings, or get milk fresher from the farmer or something. I don't know what the answer is but they shouldn't go bad so soon. I am not a business but a consumer.

I just don't know why this Kroger's drops the ball in certain areas. Aisles seem clean and organized however half are empty and never seem to get stocked as I am here week in and week out.I have also had a hard time with the deli. Usually I request my meat thin as possible but not shredded. There are only 2 woman who have accomplished this there for me. Last time the woman said the lowest she could go is a 1 for the pepperoni- which is a lie, I've had it thinner and prefer it thinner when I do cream cheese roles. Well today I ordered turkey thin but not shredded - it's shredded. American cheese has skid marks from someone's cheddar. Clearly in the picture you can see my white American has orange streaks. Slicer WAS NOT CLEANED between orders. Not ok!! Requested American cheese with paper between each slice, got home went to make sandwiches and cheese is 5 slices together wrapped in paper. Ummm this defeats the whole purpose of paper between each slice. Now I have 4 layers of 5 slices of cheese stuck together. For now on I will be checking it and requesting a do over at this point. It shouldn't be this hard. It's happened too many times for me to say it's just a simple mistake. Others don't seem to have a problem doing this for me. Once I get the names of the 2 woman who actually follow what customers request I will credit them. I also want to mention when we went to check out there were ONLY 3 registers open causing congestion in the lanes and hard to navigate through for everyone one. I thought there was a pandemic and Kroger's is not following through on making sure this does not happen. Just a few annoying occurrences in Kroger Newark, oh

Kayla was terrible. Went in on a Sunday afternoon, there was no line and ordered a black tea lemonade. Kayla put ice in it even though the cup clearly said no ice. I mentioned it to her while she was still making the drink and said she could just strain the ice when she poured it into the cup. She did that then threw the shaker cup at the sink behind her. She also used the wrong tea in my drink.

Like the store but customer service is terrible. My grandson got sick and vomited in the isle so I went to tell someone that they needed to get someone with more bucket to clean it up and instead they handed me paper towels and disinfecting spray. It was a lot of puke that wasn't getting cleaned up with paper towels. What business makes customers clean up after themselves

Employees are always very rude and it always takes way too long to get your drinks. Also, every time I ask for LIGHT ice, it seems that they put extra. Not impressed.
