Been going here my whole life (40 yrs) my dad used to take me here as a kid and he came here as a kid. Pizza is consistently great and never changes! Thank you Bob for all the years of amazing pies! Brought my kids in today for their first visit and experience and they love it as I knew they would! Please pass this down to your kids when you're ready to hang it up! It's SO good we drive 2 hrs to get it!

Three generations of my family and just as many on my wife's side have been eating pizza here. My Dad went to school with a lot of the folks who run this place and my wife's grandparents got a massive pizza order every Friday for decades. This pizza is good feelings, great memories, and tradition for me. It's fantastic pizza as well with a completely unique crust. If you're looking for one of the absolute best pizza places in Newark, you'll be hard pressed to find something better than Louie's. I love this place and hope it never changes.

A family favorite for generations. My husband MUST have his Louie's when we come to Ohio. We arrived on a Sunday and had to wait until Tuesday for his Louie's fix. It was worth the wait, as always. Every glorious bite was enjoyed and savored. Until we meet again Louie's, we will have we sweet dreams of the delicious delectable slices.

Tried ordering pizza at 8:25pm Friday. They turn off phones and posted closing time is 9:00pm on Friday night.I drove there to order in person as phones shut off. Owner tells me he needs to “cut it off at some point”. Daughter who was visiting home from college requested it and was unable to order. I ordered Plaza Pizza Heath instead and it was ready in 20-25 min and delicious.
Hands down top 3 Pizza places period! I love that these guys keep it simple and keep it real, cash or check only, no problem there, everyone complaining about it need to not be putting it on Google, that kills it for the owners, who are still in there working daily to keep their dream alive and keep us fed with good quality pizza! Go to another pizza place if it's that inconvenient for you to have cash to buy dinner!

We moved to Newark in 2003 and discovered Louies, it has been a staple in our house and a favorite favorite ever since.It is a no frills family business so no modern conveniences like delivery and they don't take credit cards. Sometimes the hours will vary. You can't order online or find a coupon...but you will find one of the cleanest pizza shops in existence, and pizzas made by the same family for decades with fresh ingredients that have a very unique taste.Louies is one of the things that defines Newark for me, it's one of a kind...and delicious.
