Took forever to get are food once it came out it was cold we found a hair in my sons food they mixed up my husband’s plate, then handed his plate off to another customer and then handed us the other customer’s food after my husband already ate off of that plate this place has gone down hill since The original owner retire

The food was absolutely awful! I wouldn't even give it to my dog.

Overall this was a good experience. I liked the way the meal was prepared. The sauces were flavorful and the entrees were made well. I believe that they are very reasonably priced. Like many Chinese restaurants cleanliness seems to be lacking. It is disappointing to see this trend. It was an overall good experience.

Very nice people working here. The food is fresh n hot and delicious. Quiet place to sit n talk and enjoy company! Handicap accessible and plenty of seats!

Lucky Bamboo is one of our favorite places <3 I’ve sampled most things on their menu over the years, and the food is always good. The atmosphere is peaceful, the wait staff is helpful and friendly without being over solicitous, and the prices are quite reasonable. This is a good place to take visitors not only because the food is terrific but also because they have two main sections, the back one with a bar, and they can usually accommodate a slightly larger group by putting tables together while also having several booths along the outer walls (our favorite spots).
Try their Mala green beans with chicken if you like spicy hot Thai food, or the Mongolian beef.

Hands down the best Chinese Food in all of Newark.

I can not say enough good things about this place. The food and service are top-notch. The prices and portions are such a great value. I almost always have a second meal with leftovers. I would say this is one of, if not the best, restaurant in the Newark/Heath area.

I went for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated quickly and the service was good. However, the food was a solid C. We ordered the Special Tofu and Mala Chicken. I am going to guess that they serve a lot of older, Caucasian customers because there was no depth of flavor. It tasted predominately of soy sauce. Had it not been so cheap, it would have been more disappointing.

I experienced the worst service ever. One of the server was racist. I went to got dinner with my mom, we both are from Peru. I was the one who ordered (im living about 3 years in America, so my English its good enough) so this lady since the beginning was asking twice what i was saying. I was being patient because i understand i have an accent, so is she. Anyways. After she dropped the food, she didn’t give us silverware, so i asked and she asked again twice, pretending she didn’t understand, then she grabbed the silverware and threw it to the table, tables around us was surprised her act. I didn’t say anything. Btw, there were more tables around us with her being server. She did NOT act like that. She refilled their water, asked about the food, checking on them, giving smiles back. ANYTHING OF THAT SHE DID FOR US. So after i saw that she refilled water I asked her to get a refill of water, her first answer was “are you done?” And i said, no but can you give me a refill? Then when she came back I asked her what is going on, why is she acting weird, she is being mean. She just walked away. I went to the cashier and ask for boxes and then the receipt. There was no manager to talk to. She came and start yelling that she just cant understand about i was asking water. She said because i speak another language she can’t understand, even we both have an ACCENT. Im so disappointed to this place, never coming back again.

Been going to lucky bamboo for years. The service is very fast and the portions are more than enough. The restaurant is always very clean and well maintained.
