My Family came together to have breakfast. Great place to eat and affordable. Always busy but didn't have to wait.

The Barnyard Buster was wobderful. The first one in over 3 years. My sister and brother in law took me to breakfast while I stayed with them on my vacation from Colorado. It was just as good as ever. 😊

Great place for breakfast. Service at the Newark location is always amazing. Recent remodel has really helped the atmosphere.

Waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated at table that was dirty . Had to ask them to clean it and chairs off prior to being seated.

We called today to ask about the pork and kraut special. Natalie who answered the phone was super polite and professional.

Once we got our food home it was all downhill.

The pork was tough, unseasoned, and mostly fat. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant.

I called to talk to someone because it honestly was just that bad. When I spoke to the manager, Danny, he was flippant at first then just plain rude and dismissive. When I said the pork wasn’t seasoned he told me that’s how it had to be because “we have a lot of elderly customers”. And when I asked him if he thought that’s something they may want to tell customers prior to ordering he got irritated with me.

Told me I had to bring it back for a refund; fine. I asked if I could bring it in the next day as I wasn’t driving back out again the same night. He said sure, but “it better mostly be there because if it isn’t Ron (the other manager) won’t give you a refund.”

I then started to tell him how this was our first experience with TeeJays being newer to the area and based on this interaction would probably be our last. He was condescending calling me honey and told me to never come back to the restaurant as “he won’t be insulted”. When I asked where in the conversation I insulted him he couldn’t answer because, shocker, I didn’t.

I’ve worked as a server and I’ve worked in customer service. This man is horrible at it. I don’t subscribe to the whole “the customer is always right” adage because usually customer can be difficult. But my valid concerns were met with blatant rudeness and it sucks. You guys need to do better.

Food was unseasoned and overcooked.
Staff was rude to my wife over the phone when we asked for a refund due to poor food quality. Very disappointed.
