My Mom and I had lunch here while we were visiting Newark to do some thrift store shopping. The women's restroom was out of order. My Mom then had to use the men's restroom, which was filthy and smelled of urine. Mom ordered a wrap, and I had a chicken sandwich. The food was the worst either of us has ever had at a Wendy's. My Mom couldn't even finish her wrap. She said it tasted very strange. My chicken sandwich was very subpar even for fast food. The dining room was filthy, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. You can't send one of the employees out to the dining room to wipe off tables? There was a young man sleeping in the dining room that appeared to be very sick. He was slumped over a table, resting his head on his arm. The amount of homeless in the area was shocking. The city of Newark has gone way downhill. It was a very depressing sight. You can tell it must have been a beautiful city at one time, but we felt quite uncomfortable during our visit.
Potato and French toast sticks were both paper thin, toast was just a slice of bread cut down dipped in mixture, no cinnamon. Will not order breakfast again.

First time trying the bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich and it was delicious. The potato wedges were got and fresh but cut way too thin.

Terrible customer service. 2 dummies on the front counter watched me walk in. Stood there and finished their whole 5 minute conversation before either of them even wanted to great me and either take my order/pick up. It was very rude to be frank. One had red hair and the other had glasses. Whoever hired those people needs fired let alone they themselves have no customer service skills. They don’t deserve paychecks at this point. Get them out before they waste more of your money.
