The service was great. We both got the fish dinner. It was just okay. Probably my fault ordering it as it's not what they are known for. Definitely will be back, but will get either breakfast, melt, or their pot roast. Those are usually very good.

January 1st 2026, Three of us dining. Pancakes were unedible. The apple topping was disgusting. There was something wrong with the sausage gravy very thick and very dark. Inside of my omelette was raw onions. Egg was dry It was a horrible experience. We left our food on the table paid and walked out. We will not be back. nobody even wanted to eat what they received.

Pancakes were doughy and tasted of flour. Sausages were bland. Eggs were fine but overall the meal lacked. The server was good but the overall feel was poor. The heart of what this restaurant is gone.
Love this place

Ordered take out because I wanted to try their new caramel apple hotcakes. They didn’t have a-la-cart options on the menu anymore, only combos, and when I called to see if maybe i could order something by itself the young lady on the phone had no idea what that even was. Even after I explained what it meant she was completely clueless and didn’t care to ask for help she would just go silent instead. So I told her nevermind and just ordered on the website. Two minutes after my order was said to be ready I went inside the store. I did have to wait for service but that time elapsed doesn't add up with the sides being cold and clearly undercooked (see photo). Bright hashbrowns and sausage that taste like it was microwaved for one minute from frozen. The hot cakes tasted like dirty well water and cinnamon. Both me and someone over at the podium (waiting to be seated) were just standing around waiting to be acknowledged while the employees behind the counter looked off into space and walked around aimlessly. There was like seven of them and six of the seven were in la la land. The cashier checking out the in house guests was the only one busy and she took a minute to also stare off into space after finishing checking out three people then asked me was I picking up. The pick up bags are on the back counter I had no idea you were supposed to go back there and grab them and go it seemed like it would be weird to do, like not standard procedure. Even though I considered it during my wait. Even the order confirmation said “see an attendant to pick up your order”. She pushed a bag two inches to the left on that back counter instead of bringing it to me and said “it’s going to be this bag right here” no other words like “thank you” “have a nice day” were said so I could maybe give her the benefit of the doubt and be like “ok that’s just how she does things”.. nope she walked away from the bag and said to the guy behind me “are you picking up”. There was only one other time (at the McDonald’s on south st) that I had seen the employees treating the customers like their personal enemy’s. Lol. Then for the food to be nasty just adds insult to injury. I’m good on Bob Evans . Looks good but it is not and the customer service is non existent. I skipped Waffle House to come here and try the new menu item only to waste money and be given the cold shoulder as a paying customer. I won’t be fooled by the pretty pics ever again.

I got a family meal for thanksgiving for 6 to 8 people. It was more like 4 at the most, ham was rubbery, cranberry sauce for 2, for Bob Evans it was very disappointing.

My family had my birthday dinner there. The service and food were excellent!!
Waited at least 15 minutes, moderately busy, but y'all can seat solo or duo patrons at the smaller tables. My suggestion is to have someone at hostess spot, someone at carryout/register, etc. Poor management. I gave up and went elsewhere; not the only one who did that today.
Best sausage and biscuits in town 😋 Anita
