Great food. Went for Valentines day dinner and got there when they opened. Very busy by the time we left. They added the tip to the bill and we didn't realize it, so we double tipped.

We went here for the first time on Valentines day, and were so glad we did! The place was really busy as to be expected but the service was still on point even with the place being packed! We started with the hot peppers and oil as an appetizer and I would put them in the top 5 in the area and my wife puts them in her top 3. Either way, they were good. They give you an option of soup or salad with your meal, we both chose salad. Their house Italian dressing is good and I'd definitely recommend it. For meals, my wife a a V-day special that was a 6oz filet topped with lobster. It was excellent and the steak melted in your mouth. For her side she got the risotto (sorry no pic), it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. I had the Porcini Sea Bass and the only way we could both describe it was absolutely AMAZING!! It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. It came on a bed of rice and im not sure what was poured on it but the meal as a whole just went perfectly together. Overall it was a great experience and the staff did excellent for as packed as they were. We will definitely put this on our place we will return to list!

My wife and I had dinner here for the first time a couple of days ago. Wow!!! We sat at the bar and had excellent service, food and conversation. We were treated like regulars and we are looking forward to becoming regulars. Spot on all around.

The food was so authentically Italian! Delicious! I had the Spaghetti Funghetti with shrimp and it was amazing! The appetizers were so full of flavor, the Italian greens, bruschetta, calamari, yum!!! Definitely recommend Vernon's!

A solid four star+ rating. Good food, the veal/chicken parmesan is a sizable cutlet of meat, not drowned out with piles of unnecessary pasta. Table olive oil seemed almost clear and not a good quality evoo. Price was on the higher side for certain dishes and desserts. Service was good for a group of 8 people, it would probably be better for smaller groups or couples. The atmosphere is nice, casual average dining room. The karaoke style live singer didn't add much and simple background dinner music would have been nice as well. Pictures include Vernon's meatballs, veal parmesan and gnocchi with meatball.
