Mama Guzzardi's Italian Restaurant

We showed up the first time a little before closing and were unable to be served.
We went back the next day out of curiosity, and it was definitely worth the return. The food was great, the service was great, and all at a fair price.
A little taste of Italy right here in North Canton.

My wife ordered the Agile E Olio with extra baked cheese. It was served to her with no baking and the cheese partly underneath the spaghetti noodles. Obviously the food was flipped onto the serving plate. My wife sent it back and asked again for the whole dish to have cheese on top and baked ( brown on cheese). It came back with noodles steamy like it was put in a microwave (with no browning and no extra cheese). So instead of sending the dish back, my wife tried it. She then put her fork down and slid the dish to me to try. It was DRENCHED in garlic powder. Just Horrible! I couldn't get the taste off my tongue 🤢. I quickly ate the plain bread and washed it down with my drink. The taste was still there PARALYZING my tongue from tasting anything else.
It was so strong that I could have warded off any vampire with my breath. 😂

So sauce might be best ever had. However the service is terribly slow. Atmosphere needs some work.

I picked up a doordash order at lunchtime 10 minute ride to delivery. The smell made me drool. Went back for my dinner had Lazagna delicious you won't regret it. Established in 1986

The food and service at Mama Guzzardi's was excellent. I even met the owner and chef. Loved the decor with the owner's family photos. I had the lasagna, which was a good sized portion, with a side salad and a cannoli for dessert. Reasonably priced as well. Recommend!

If you’re looking for a great mom and pop Italian Restaurant with homemade recipes this is your spot. Amazing pasta dishes at reasonable prices. Oh the desserts are delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

The ravioli and mozzarella sticks are AMAZING! I was craving Italian food and saw this down the street from my house and it did not disappoint

Great small local Italian restaurant. Food is always good. Server was great. They do charge for everything. Meatballs, extra garlic bread etc.

My wife and I were looking forward to having a great Italian meal particularly the manicotti since a lot of area restaurants don’t serve it. After much research we found out that Mama G’s only served it on Wednesday. Since the hours posted on-line indicate 11:00-8:00, we thought we would celebrate my birthday dinner and spend a special evening enjoying the manicotti dinner. Much to our disappointed once we got there around 4:30pm on Wednesday, the doors were locked and no signs indicating why they were closed. For future reference, if you will not be open as your hours indicate please let your customers know!

The food is delicious & very reasonable. The garlic bread is to kill for and their pasta/sauce the best around in Stark County.

The restaurant is very clean & well maintained.
And the added bonus is Melissa, the sweetest waitress I’ve had in a long time in any restaurant. She is prompt, kind & accommodating in serving her customers.

Best Italian food in the County. I had the Stuffed Shells (Excellent) others had the Fish (They Loved It)! The Marina Sauce is wonderful and the Meatballs so tender and tasty.
Best part was the patient and friendly service!
Fast, Warm and Delicious. Took half home.
Great meal with Family and Friends.

Best Italian food around!! We travel over an hour one way to visit and often!!! It's one of our favorites!!! The meatballs are delicious, and the lasagna is to die for!! Friendly staff!! Full salad is big enough to feed a small village!! 🤣 highly recommended from my family!!
