This location is closed. Shut down. Stripped of openness.
Was seen in taste of stark on Facebook that they are closed and there is For Lease in the window. Do not order online as they are Closed permanently
I would give zero stars if I could. I've worked in the food industry for over ten years as an executive chef, and have been in many restaurants good and bad. Never have a been to a restaurant so run down and nasty in my life. Ordered carryout before we realized how bad it really was. The atmosphere of the building was enough to make us throw our food out when we got home, and go elsewhere. Dirty filthy place I can't believe they are still open. For the sake of the business I hope the owner makes some big changes and soon. From past reviews looks like it's been this way for a few months.
I was so disgusted with my visit to Zoup today. I never leave a bad review unless it is well deserved. Soda machines broken, tables filthy & our soup was cold. I literally turned the soup upside down to show the staff it was a solid. Staff loud in the kitchen dancing around as we sat in a dark, dirty & quiet restaurant. I asked who the owner was and the girls had no idea. Disappointed & asked for a full refund.
First time eating here today and it will be the last. $30+ spent for mediocre soup and sandwiches. Stains on the floor, crumbs on every table, gnats flying everywhere, trash hasn’t been taken out in forever, bathrooms atrocious. A gnat actually was in my husband’s drink! There was like 5 workers present, all 5 of them were in the back talking the whole time, even as I walked around taking pictures of everything. A very horrible experience and I would very much like a refund of my hard earned money.
There were stains on the carpet, trash on the floor, upholstery was torn, paint was chipped on the walls. There were soup stains in the bathroom, no paper towels, everything was kind of placed all over the place. Felt gross eating there but I was on my lunch break and didn't have time to change places. Pop machine was also broken and I guess it has been for a while. No pride of ownership in that place. I also paid over $20 for just me which I thought was a little pricey but would have been OK with it if I had a good experience. Would not go back.
Awful. My tuna sandwich had a small smear of tuna and a couple pieces of brown romaine pieces. Bread was rock hard and tuna super dry. Never going back.
First time here. Associate seemed she didn't want to be there. Soda machine didn't work. Sandwiches were ok. Bacon Mac-n-cheese was disappointing and looked nothing like the online picture
Filthy dirty conditions. Was out if stock on few items. Ordered Lobster Bisque. Tasted bad. Was acidic. Don’t go to this restaurant.
Sandwich was great, however soup was inedible. Clam chowder. Tasted like was held at to high of temp.

This location is going down hill place is falling apart. The soda machine is broken and has been for a while rewards program tied to the cash register is down out of bread bowls digital signage has been down since the pandemic. Only one person working she was nice.
I used to be a Zoup regular and wanted to give it another try. Upon walking in I noticed how much this location was in disrepair. I used the bathroom to find the bathroom filthy with no paper towels and no soap. The food was very expensive and the bread was rock hard and soup tasteless. 18 dollars for a small cup of soup and half a sandwich is a bit crazy. This place needs some serious help.
Food was okay. Tahnny the sweet overworked girl at the counter fulfilled 4 orders working completely alone.
My daughter and I stopped in yesterday. We hadn't been there since covid hit. We both got the lobster bisque, she got a bread bowl I got a half order. Her bowl was so stale it could NOT be cut with the plastic knife,( no fork). My bread was too stale to bite. The other soups looked like they had been on the steam table for hours and hours. There were two other tables occupied but over half the tables were dirty. The two workers were on their phones. They didn't notice at all when my daughter struggling to get a bite cut off her bread bowl splashed it all over her shirt. She went to the bathroom to clean up and found it very dirty. Also she isn't a child, she is an executive chef in a high end Italian restaurant so she knows how one should be run. We will not be back.
Connie is extremely Wonderful and the young Lady who works along with Connie is Terrific. The soup selections are limited for me due to issues but the Pumpkin Bisque is delicious. Although they mess up an order or two, Connie immediately with kindness fixes the problem. Connie and her young Co Worker is ALWAYS very awesome and kind. I wish there was different selections in their breads.
