After following for a long time, as we were over that way today, we decided to stop in for some ice cream. The owner was great at explaining menu items and letting us know about some other things not currently on the menu boards. Also, took a few minutes to chat with us.To our surprise, he had a vegan ice cream, which my husband was thrilled about. 10/10 we will definitely be back!

Great presentation of an awesome milkshake! Slightly pricey but what isn't nowadays days....Could use some remodeling but would definitely return and recommend.

Fun novelty place, but nothing special about the ice cream itself.

The worst ice cream I ever had! Ice cream you buy at the store is 5 stars to this ice cream! We had peanut butter ice cream it was crumbly & was like a gummy paste! Terrible! We threw our ice cream out, it wasn’t cheap either!

Not sure what the smell is but the store just looks very dirty. Myy ice cream had a weird chemical taste and mase my mouth feel numb. Threw it out and went to Handel's!

If I were providing a rating based on presentation alone, Bulldog would get 5-stars. They do an AMAZING job making the treat look next level cool. However, I didn’t provide 5 stars. I have some issues with my visit. They were out of several of the flavors. My wife’s top 3 choices, in fact, resulted in a “sorry, we’re out”. Secondly, no indoor seating. The indoor space isn’t large, but could accommodate a few people. It was very cold outside, we were the only people there. They could fit 2 to 3 pub style tables. I didn’t want to take it to my car to eat due to the chance of a big mess. Lastly, as I stated before, it looks cool, comes in a glass jar, etc…but at $14, it didn’t feel like a $14 treat. As far as bulldog is concerned, I’m a 1 and done. Been there, probably won’t be back.

I had the pleasure of trying Bulldog Ice Cream today. I got the Little Debbie Christmas tree shake and it was amazing. I wonder how many know that this specific location is run/owed by a 20 year old boy from Cleveland named Anthony that has been working with his dad since he was a child and has huge aspirations of doing so much more. Also a cool little thing was you get to take the glass cup that your specialty item comes in. Judge not by the lack of decor and it being a new business. Give them a try!

Loved the Christmas trees on the shake. Was hoping the ice cream beneath the tree would of been peppermint flavored but it was till good. Lots of other unique shakes to choose from too.Highly recommend the flavored ice.Owned by a very nice young man who always greets you with a smile.Ice cream often doesn't settle well with my Aunt but the ice cream here doesn't seem to bother her.

Bulldog Ice Cream does not look fancy inside, and most of its flavors of ice cream are not super-unique. I will give a positive review, though, because the employee who served me was very prompt and nice, and I did enjoy the taste of my ice creams. The employee said hello to me, and he asked me how I was doing, and he quickly assembled my root beer float and my two scoops of ice cream. The banana ice cream was interesting with its chunks of banana and vanilla cookies. Prices were average. An area with tables and benches was located outside.

Homemade Ice Cream. They had me at homemade. Stopped at Bull Dog Ice Cream in Boardman. Nice selection. Looks an old Rita's location. Service was great. I got a waffle cone with cookies and cream crunch ( not sure that the crunch was) and I got the remainder of their Peanut Butter Cup. I liked the cookies and cream the best . I added a side of peanut butter sauce to mix the things up a bit.

I got the peanut butter cup specialty shake. The cups are cool and the shakes look delicious but I was very underwhelmed with the taste and quality. Half of my drink was milky and the other half was ice cream. The shake left a weird after taste that tasted how the building smelled if that makes sense. The whole thing was very overpriced and the bathrooms were less than clean. I'd rather go to Handle's, Bruster's, or Orange Leaf for a good frozen treat.

I believe the negative reviews about Bulldog Ice Cream, but based on my experience on one day, I will write a 4-star review. Upon entering the business, I noticed that the interior decorating could look nicer. The television screens with the menus changed periodically, so I had to wait a short while to read the menu. The flavors of ice creams were fairly typical, although I feel curious to know what Crown Apple Scoops is...I should have ordered that! I did not visit the bathrooms at all.The customer service was excellent. The employee immediately greeted me, and he asked me how I was doing. He accurately took my order and payment and assembled my ice creams. My ice creams were ready after about 2 minutes. The total cost for two scoops of ice cream plus a root beer float was $10. Tables and benches were located outside. My husband enjoyed his root beer float, and I enjoyed my scoops of strawberry and banana ice cream.
