The drinks were fine but for a place called Best Damn Tacos they certainly didn’t care for the small group of Latinos that were there tonight. We arrived at the bar at about 11 knowing they would close at midnight. One of our group was celebrating her 56th birthday and she really wanted to go to this bar. We were having a great time but before midnight, they turned off the music and patrons started to sing closing time and you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here. They clearly wanted us to leave. After we left they turned the lights back down and started playing the music again. A real bummer and it felt super gross.

Unfortunately, I feel like they they're barns and rice are way to salty and pricey for one taco!!

Just like homemade…no seriously you could make this all at home! The rice was reminiscent of the bagged rice you can get for $1 at the store. The corn salsa was no more than an undrained can of Rotel and a can of corn mixed. Maybe a sprig of cilantro chopped and tossed in for looks. The chips were stale and had an odd taste to them. Certainly not the best. I will give them credit that the burrito was huge! If I liked it it would have easily been 2 meals for me.

Truly the Best Damn Mexican place around! I’d give it a 10/5. Food is authentic, flavorful, and spicy (depending on what you get). Good portions for your money. Margs are also soo good! Service is great with friendly servers. Cool decor and environment. Absolutely worthy of its name. I can’t say enough great things about it!

Worst damn tacos ever. The menu is taco, burrito or salad. The drink menu has no prices so it's always a surprise. I have never been sad when eating a taco, even awful tacos. These tacos hit an all new low for me. 6 dollars, À la carte, one taco each. Flour tortilla, massive amounts of lettuce a tiny dash of protein all swimming in what's probably mayonnaise with cayenne in it. Oh dear God, and the queso. It was full of roux balls. There's nothing like flour balls on your stale a$# tortilla chip.

Waitress was very nice. Food, not as nice. Chicken was VERY dry and the rice was bland and no one at our table like it.My son was the only one that completely enjoyed his meal and he had a brisket burrito.

So I guess the full name of this place is "Best Damn Tacos We Can Assemble With Scraps Found While Dumpster Diving Behind Taco Bell" The name is pretty bold, especially considering you're competing with places like Barrio, Condado, Cilantro Taqueria, Ghost Pepper, Hola Tacos, Laredo Taco, and Taco Bell. Seriously, I've had better tacos at P.J. McIntyre's and Merry Arts. The tacos are stuffed into tiny tortillas that you can't even hold in your hand, so you have to eat them with a fork. The ingredients are horrendously inedible in any of the tacos you try, and the cooks don't know authentic anything. Chips and queso is really just bowling alley nachos and cheese, but from last week because the chips are stale and I'm pretty sure they liked the salt off them in the back. Margaritas are pure sugar with barely any alcohol in them. Staff is extremely rude, arrogant, and inattentive to their customers and the owner is just as bad when it comes to his responses to bad reviews. He may have a lot of experience as a line cook or whatever, but he definitely needs a crash course on how to treat customers and take some criticism without calling people names. All in all, it's an overhyped, overpriced, loud, dirty, half-assed attempt at a bar that serves tacos that leaves you looking for somewhere else to grab dinner because your food was inedible and you're still hungry, just with less $$ in your pocket now.

I love their Burritos - So 5 stars for the burritos ! NOW 1 star for service. Look order to go if you feel disrespected . I work in the service industry serving all types of alcohol , Cigars, Wines etcetera. Yes I get pissed when I am treated with disrespect, even worse I was confronted by my boss after a deliberately rude lady stated in an email that "all the males working there acted like I did not exist" this was 2 years ago. So he took her word over ours, I was furious. So as far as David sticking up for his employees I give him 5 stars ! Look as an employee and 65 years of age I do realize that we will all be subject to some that lack manners and decorum. Suck it up is about all you can do. Also you never really know what is going on in someone's life and that they are struggling . Inform your manager that the next time this customer comes in that you will not wait on them if they are rude.

These are not the best damn tacos, these are the most outrageous tacos. So full of flavor, meat & salsa, you can’t stop eating them. Also heard about the wings, they are fabulous. I’m glad I got some wings. This place is out of the world & the waitress was just as outstanding.

So, not the best tacos. Just ok tacos. The Paloma I ordered wasn’t great. The queso was more like beer cheese with tortilla chips. I know they do drag shows, so I love that this is a place for that! I will be back for a drag show and a couple drinks, but I’ll skip the food.

Best Damn Tacos is a great place with amazing live music and a very entertaining drag show. The staff is super friendly and fun!! Each time I've gone I've ordered the same thing which doesn't disappoint. If you want good, fast and flavorful food - this is a great spot!

I've been to this restaurant/ bar on 3 occasions. I wanted to be supportive as it's a local business, but my experiences have been pretty bad. First experience, pre-great resignation or covid, I waited quite awhile for the bartender to come over and seat me. Dining area on the left was clean, food was average, tacos and margaritas were nothing to write home about. 2nd experience, I went with my son, was placed n the bar area at 8 person round table for the 2 of us under a speaker blaring out 80s pop music. Waited 15 minutes for her to return for drink order, requested to be moved to dining room due to volume of horrible music, was ignored and music was turned down a notch. Waited another 15 minutes, beer finally arrived. No move to dining room side.. Left without drinking the beer, as I'm not about to have my request ignored by the barmaid. 3rd experience, meeting some friends to watch a band, sat at bar for 15-20 minutes waiting to be waited on while a very young female bartender was on the outside of the u-shaped bar (fully able to see me) yacking with 2 friends that came to bar soon after me. Finally a mid 20s to mid30s sweet bartender finally noticed I wasn't being taken care of and got me a beer. She took care of me from then on. Felt sorry for her knowing she probably did all the work while the other 2 barmaid, one younger and one older, couldn't be bothered to do their job. I tipped that sweet, hard-working bartender extra to show my appreciation. Most of the staff, not all, act like they're entitled, are arrogant, treat customers with disdain if you're lucky to even be waited on. I gave them 3 tries, won't be going back. Yeah, I know Covid, staff shortage, etc. But these employees just don't give a s#$@. Edit: After reading all the reviews, I get it. David K has 20 years experience in the back of the restaurant. He is out of his depth for the front. His responses to reviews, disregard, actually penchant for responding in a petulant, child-like manner, flows down to his employees. He evidently didn't do well at J&W, probably CIA laughed at his application. All in all, you have a line cook trying to run a restaurant with arrogance of a tool and the wisdoms of a moron. I'm amazed this restaurant lasted as long as it has, most likely someone is burning through their inheritance supporting this fool.

I really wanted to like this place, but the tacos proved otherwise. Perhaps the burritos or other menu offerings may taste better, but who knows. This was my first visit there, and I had been curious to visit after all these years driving by this joint. After all, I am a huge fan of Mexican type restaurants, and frequent the competition (Barrios, El Rodeo, Cilantro Taqueria, Blue Habanero, Condado, Nuevo Acapulco, etc.). Anyway, I ordered the crab and j*** chicken tacos, and they were dissapointingly subpar. I had to leave both unfinished after taking just a few bites, which has not happened at any other Mexican place I frequent. What really upset me was that I twice bit into gristle that was in the cubed chicken bits, and the j*** flavor was minimal and way off flavor-wise. I also got the impression that the cubed chicken bits were of cheap quality. Not good. The employees were kind and attentive though, but that does not make up for the negative experience. I'm one and done with this establishment.

I have drove by this place countless times and always thought it was just another Taco place Condados or Barrio based on the name. I was definitely pleasantly surprised to find out it is much more than just taco's. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious. My wife got a burrito that was by far better than Chipotle. We will definitely be trying this place again.
