Prediction: This location will close within the next 12 months. Some foods served cool, not hot. One meal arrived uncooked and there was little urgency to get it corrected, restrooms were filthy early in the day, bad odor immediately after walking thru the front door, floors were sticky, outside of building is not being maintained....and the place was practically empty on a Sunday at noonish. All signs of poor management and a pending closing.
We recently had a family Eid dinner. The food was mostly delicious, with standout dishes like Shrimp Portofino, Gorgonzola steak, and Pollo Caprese. However, some plates arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing. Service was good, but orders took longer than expected. The environment was excellent, and my kids loved the table paper for painting. Overall, it was a good experience, but food temperature and timing could improve.
They need a new vinaigrette recipe. The food is edible. I love the rosemary loaves, but I can make that at home. They can't make a cream sauce nor a red sauce. I wouldn't order any of the appetizers. The happy hour drink specials are good. I wouldn't eat here.
This location has really gone downhill. The floors are always sticky! The bread is as fantastic as ever, as was our server. However, the tomato bisque soup had the consistency of chili and tasted odd. I wouldn’t have known it was soup unless I had ordered it. My husband’s pasta had no flavor/seasoning. Really disappointed as we used to love coming here.
Awesome Italian food! Try the chicken parmesan...

Never went out to eat for Christmas but macaroni grill may be our new tradition. Haven't been here in years but I'm Soo impressed with everything! The absolute best stuffed mushrooms & best Caesar side salad! I had Mama's trio add shrimp to the Alfredo and brussel sprouts on side. Also had a whole carafe of white sangria and orange cosmo and a frozen Bellini. My wife had chicken scaloppini 5 stars in every category! Thank you!

Just not my kind of food. The spaghetti sauce was bland, the other sauce had way too much garlic, the fried mozzarella was ok. I can honestly say I will not return.

Nothing too wrong with the food, but the service at the North Olmsted location was sadly the worst ever experienced on Christmas Day today. We had a kind bartender named Adam grab our drinks after being seated a while. Our waiter, Justin, seemed really annoyed with me asking for a drink refill and this was by the way, the only thing I had asked for after him disappearing for such a while. He whispered under his breath, “okay ladies”, rolled his eyes and scurried away annoyed. Then he just didn’t seem to return. I never got a to-go box for my food since he didn’t want anything to do with us as it seemed, nobody else received drink refills and when it was time for the check, he put it face down on the table and walked away. Not a word, as if we were such an inconvenience being there. Mean while, he turned to the table behind us and thanked them, “so much” for coming. Sorry we asked for a refill after being seated over an hour for our food to come, that our waiter didn’t even bring by the way. We won’t be back to this location again if that means having this same server as that visit was such a let down.

First, I want to apologize to the public for not addressing this issue sooner. Life had been hectic, with overwhelming priorities taking precedence. Nevertheless, this situation needs to be shared due to its seriousness and potential consequences.
On November 19, 2022, my visit to the Strongsville Macaroni Grill turned into a shocking and dangerous ordeal. Hidden within my dinner, I discovered what appeared to be a razor-sharp piece of ribbon steel, the type typically used to scrub pots and pans. This was not a minor or harmless object. It could have caused catastrophic harm if swallowed. Had I missed it, it might have cut my throat, and in the case of a child, it could have been fatal.
When we brought this to the attention of the server and management, their reaction was disturbingly dismissive. They brushed off our concerns as if it were no big deal. To make matters worse, we overheard laughter coming from the kitchen staff and cook, treating this life-threatening situation as a joke. Such unprofessionalism and lack of accountability are completely unacceptable. This is a matter of customer safety, and their reaction shows a total disregard for it.
Since this incident, I have not returned to this location. Their careless response raises serious concerns about how often hazards like this occur and go unaddressed. This is a systemic problem that demands immediate attention from the health department. The photos I have provided clearly show the seriousness of the issue.
I regret not reporting this sooner, but I feel obligated to speak out now to prevent something like this from happening to anyone else. Strongsville Macaroni Grill, your negligence could have cost someone their life. Food safety is not a joke, and your lack of accountability is deeply troubling. I urge anyone considering dining at this location to think twice.

Best chain Italian update 12/2024 OMG lunch time, no more than 12 people total in the place, service was good, meal was so disappointing, food was barely warm and sent back to be heated, came back warm at best. Cappuccino is now a keurig. The most disappointing $60 meal I've ever had.

Bathroom a bit disgusting, but the rest was on par with any other Macaroni Grill. Not my kind of place but went for the family dinner. Food was good.

Stopped in for Happy Hour between. 3pm-7pm. Had some great appetizer and drink specials! The weather in Cleveland was horrendous, we walked over from our hotel! Restaurant part was not too busy, sat in the bar area for the Happy hour special, bar was busier, the bartender was soo friendly! The spicy meatballs and bruchetta were delicious! The salads were great size and also delicious! The bread with the olive oil and pepper before your food was also yummy!!

We have gone here twice because all the ones near us have closed down and both times were very mid. The food came out cold and/or wrong. Drinks took forever. There is never more than 20 people in the dining room so I duno how things can get so bad.
