Food is VERY expensive for what you get. I took the time to type the link that showed on my check. The amount was three times more than what it showed on my check. My check was for $44.01 and it showed over $92. Watch for what you are charged because what I was charged didn’t match to the prices on the menu. I had to dispute the bill three times. Originally, I was going to pay with credit card but ended up paying with cash out of fear of being charged more. The owner couldn’t explain why the amounts didn’t match. Anyhow, today was my FIRST time there and also my LAST. No gluten free options either. I requested crunchy corn tacos and they brought me flour tortilla tacos. I am very sorry but I am unable to recommend them. Save yourself a headache, go elsewhere. Check their one star Google reviews. I wish I had read them before going.

This place is a gem, the patio is perfect for sunset because the building blocks the sun so you can relax in full shade. The food is always cooked fresh to order and has great flavors. The yuca bites here are *phenomenal* and we would definitely order them again. Yuca is, for some reason, a very difficult item to find on the menu, even in restaurants with authentic Mexican cuisine. But it is amazing when cooked right, and they cook it very well at Kalaveras. If you are looking for something new and different, something that you can't get at just any Mexican restaurant in town, come here. You'll like everything they have to offer, I'm sure, but I hope you try the yuca bites. Please order them!! I selfishly want to ensure they stay on the menu, and I will absolutely shamelessly beg you to order the yuca bites to make that happen. ?

We have eaten here several times and it has been consistently a great experience. The servers are friendly, the portions are generous and the food is delish. We’ve tried multiple items- the guac and cheese sauce, carne asada tacoes and carnitas are particular favorites. Be forewarned-the margaritas are strong and they also make daiquiris without alcohol for the kids. It has become a favorite of ours and offers a better quality than other local Mexican spots. Grateful to have more local options for a fun night out.

Parking: Parking is located behind the restaurant, there is ample spots and a wheelchair accessible ramp to get up into the restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp from the parking lot to the restaurant and tons of space between tables, as far as I can tell every part of the restaurant is accessible
