Not really a happy camper after visiting on Saturday. We were visiting for my dad‘s 81st birthday. He ordered the chicken quesadilla. He immediately noticed the salsa had a tingling taste as if it was fermented and old. He requested new salsa “because it is old” and the server questioned what made it seem old. Then proceeded to give him salsa that was likely from the same container.
He’s been lightheaded and throwing up for going on 3 days. He’s careful about his diet, and it seems quite obvious he got food poisoning.
Service was not great either. We weren’t checked on much at all. Food came out at drastically different times, and there did not seem to be enough staff.
I drove two hours to visit my father and this is how he’s going to remember his 81st.
I pray to God he recovers quickly and you should be too. Food safety is no joke, and it might make sense for me to call the health department or the local paper.
It was a very nice atmosphere and the salmon was delicious.

I was hesitant to try this place based on some of the reviews but we had a very good experience. Amanda D. was a great server. French onion soup was delicious. Ribs were indeed fall off the bone tender and BBQ sauce was tasty, fries crispy, and hush puppies were very good.
