Our wedding cake and cupcakes from Giant Eagle were beautiful and so tasty! Everyone LOVED them! Michelle was easy to work with and decorated our cake just like a picture I showed her. Would highly recommend!

If you have not visited this gem, then you should! I found this bakery by accident. It was featured on the food network channel and deservedly so. I have had their raspberry, apple and nut filled cookies... Buttery, fresh and mouth watering gooood! I have also tried their cream and custard filled paczki's, yummy! Mom enjoyed the lemon filled paczki and was impressed w/ the real lemon taste. She also tried the raspberry filled and was not disappointed. Finally, for Easter, they had paint your own cookies for $8.99. You had a choice of either an egg or bunny. I admit that I went overboard and bought A Lot of them for gifts. The reaction was so worth it! What has surprised me the most is you are still reading this and not driving there now!

I would recommend you go get your boosters/flu shots elsewhere! Finally got an appointment and they couldn’t do flu shot at the same time due to their billing and they would have had to do two transactions- give me a break!

We stopped in for donuts. The girl that waited on us not super helpful as we asked questions about what was what - there is soooo much to choose from! Our favorite thing (and it was delicious!) were the small pastries with a sour cream dough - we had cherry, pineapple, and raspberry. We tried SEVERAL other things are they were all good (except we didn’t really care for the poppyseed filled donut) - chocolate and white cream filled chocolate, powered sugar and maple top plus chocolate covered cinnamon rolls. All good to try if you’re in the area.

This is excellent bakery for any day- the homemade poppy seed roll is just like my Grandma used to make- loaded with filling. The kolache come in two sizes to fit your appetite and sweet tooth ! I recommend the combination 1/2 nut and poppy seed roll that has to be ordered ahead for the holidays !!

We are not in Northfield often but when we are we make a point of going to Stan's each morning for a donut/paczki. Just before we leave the area we stop to get kuchens, lady locks, and kolackys to take home, enough for our neighbors.
much better than other area locations Im not a fan of the store. but this one is better coustomer service is good.

This store is consistently the WORST grocery experience I have ever encountered. I’ve lived here for a year & it baffles the mind every single time how lines get so backed up, cashiers are so slow & inept, and no one is even pretending to hustle. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. Incredibly inefficient management. If I lived somewhere different where I had another choice of grocery store I sure as hell would never return here. Had plenty of time standing in line (like usual) to write this. Fire everyone & start over please.

Local bakery with the usual items for sale. Cakes are beautiful but expensive and the cake itself always seem so dry. Better quality from Sams Club or Giant Eagle.

This bakery has the absolutely best lady locks. They are filled with so much cream and the outside is flaky. Apricot filled danish is great too, so are cookies. So worth a stop here.
