The Buffet

I attended a horse race. Miracle won 2nd place. Fun.

MGM Northfield has a mafia approach to customer service and care. Listen to this! Walking in, I found $1000 in cash laying on the sidewalk. There was no one around. I told security that I would be playing at the casino and was looking for someone to claim the cash. I would be devastated if I lost that amount of cash. They wanted me to give them the money, insisting that I do so....I declined.... I wanted to give it to the owner. I was forthcoming and provided my identification when requested.... I wasn't trying to hide anything.. only to return the funds to the owner They called the police, who proceeded to handcuff me, a 65 year old woman who was trying to do the right thing! The event got me sick so that I was sweating and desperately needed to use the restroom. The police officer would not let me go to the restroom even though I was bending over with cramps. He threatened to throw me on the floor if I got off the chair again even though I was clearly in pain. The police officer asked several times if I had a mental health problem. I guess honesty is now considered a mental health problem!? I don't expect that the owner of this lost cash will ever receive their funds back. I eventually gave it to the officer, at which time the handcuffs were removed and the police officers disappeared. I received no receipt for the funds taken nor was there any discussion about an incident report describing the funds that were found. Horrible experience from someone who was trying to be forthcoming and return the money to the owner. I will never go to an MGM facility again and I will advocate to others to do the same. I don't fool myself into thinking that MGM cares one iota about this statement. But maybe a few citizens will consider that their rights and safety are at risk at this site.

First of all, Cece is a good waitress. She is very attentive and checked on us often. I appreciate that kind of service. Often, at a buffet, they seat you, get your drink, and then you don't see them again. This level of service is a nice change. The food is higher quality than their competition downtown. It still doesn't meet the level of Las Vegas MGM, but for Cleveland, it's OK. It's pricy. They don't seem to offer it as a comp. With my points, it costs roughly $7.00, I believe it is $25 without points. The servers are very friendly. The dessert is above par. I think it was the best part, in my opinion.

Decided to stop in at buffet for dinner with my friend, it was amazing! Everyone was so nice and attentive. I went and looked at everything before grabbing my plate. Wow, the food looked really enticing and appetizing. I loved that the food looked fresh and nice options. I left there happy and ready to enjoy the rest of the night!

Anthony and Angie slayed as our servers. not only did we eat but they ate too ?. Speedy and conscientious service. Loved the vibes in the restaurant. would highly recommend! especially the lava cake ?

Great selection of food but the rosemary chicken was really dry, the ribs and chicken were
room temp. For the price they charge, you think the food would be fresh looking. It all looked like its been sitting out for several hours. We ate at 7:30 only bout 12 people there. I wouldn't recommend it.

Today I had a very nice experience dining for lunch at this buffet. Lisa Marie gave excellent service and the atmosphere was very nice. I will return! Greatly appreciated!

The food was not good. A lot of items was very dry and old. No flavor. Definitely not worth the money!!! And this was during dinner on the weekend. Step up the Buffet. Golden corral Buffet is much better. You’re better off going to Mr. chicken across the street.

While the place was nice and clean, the food is overpriced for golden corral type buffet. My boyfriend and I tried just about every food available on a Friday evening. Most was barely warm and had been sitting awhile. It's bad when the best things were pizza cause it was actually fresher and the desserts. Not worth the 40 bucks on a weekend. I'm not sure it's worth half that at anytime. The staff was nice and attentive with drinks. Used to enjoy coming here pre pandemic but now it's just not worth it.

If you are handicapped avoid this place at all costs. I use a walker, they discriminate against people with disabilities. A friend went with me, and she forgot her ID. They let her in with me no problem. Well she made the mistake of stepping outside for a cigarette break. She just had the feeling the guy watching the door now was going to give her a hard time. When she went to come back inside he would not let her. She told him that he literally saw her walk out two minutes earlier and now he wouldn't let her back in. When she asked him if he or someone could walk with her inside to let me know that she wasn't allowed to come back in and that I was disabled and she was my helper, he told her no. Luckily my phone worked, sometimes doesn't get a signal in thar casino. I met her up front and when she gave me her tickets to cash in, I asked if v there was someone available to help me cash in my tickets since I have to use a walker and it's difficult to walk distances he told me no. So I had to start walking to a cash in machine, saw a worker and asked if maybe he could help me, said no problem. He cashed our tickets in for me, I gave him a nice tip, and told him what the security guy at front door did to me and told me. The nice gentleman said he was sorry and that the guy working up front was a real Richard Head sometimes. I won't be back when you can't even offer to help someone with disabilities.

Only bad things are why not opened past 4 during week. I'm sure there's people hungry past 4. Also why so expensive at dinner. I should be the one paying for the seafood I don't eat 37.50 is ridiculous you guys should have separate seafood restaurant. And come down on price a bit, this isn't vegas and the quality of food isn't near vegas. But when I'm hungry it's good, better then the jack. Otherwise buffet is ok
