We got to the shop later in the morning and they were almost cleared out of donuts which forced us to get some things we normally might not have picked - HOWEVER, they did not disappoint! These are legit donuts. I had a buttermilk stick donut and it had great flavor and texture. We enjoyed talking with the shop owner and learning a bit about the unique building and it's history. I hope they're able to achieve their dream and bring it back to its original glory!

Great selection, and friendly staff. I’d go back if I lived in the area.

Had to replace my daughters donut I ate when she was sick and didn’t want it… woke up the next morning asking for her donut… oops! Went and got a dozen donuts dropped some off to my family and took the rest to a nursing home I was visiting, all of the residents seemed to like them all very much,

Although Don's Donuts no longer serves food, the donuts are delicious! The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is so friendly! Theres a wide variety of donuts to choose from and they're very reasonably priced! If you have a craving for a donut and a nice cup of coffee, stop by and give them a try!!

Best donut shop in town. Delicious donuts at a reasonable price. Try the cherry chip, soooo good!

Family owned and operated for over 35 years Don's Donuts is a staple for Toledo east-siders, its location off I-280 in Northwood providing easy access from 5am till noon Thursday through Sunday. Remembered fondly from childhood, owner Mohamed Orra and family understaffed post-pandemc but still crafting several styles of Fried Dough, a dozen currently costs just $14.99 for the sort of quality that typically commands at least double on either coast. Cutting teeth on Don’s Yeast rings with Sprinkles, still light and thickly frosted, Fritters at no extra charge are Apple-filled and crispy without being oily while Cake Donuts find Cherry outpacing seasonal Pumpkin or more-familiar Blueberry. Ordering a Persian for Mom, Maple Frosting also overlying a Cream-stuffed Long John, Bismarcks come heavily powdered with sugary Gel at the center while the Buttermilk Bar compares favorably to any nationwide.
