Friends and I went today for the first time and both their meals were good , but I got a burger and fries the burger was not cooked so I got another one and asked for it not to have mayo on it , the burger was cooked ,but it had mayo on it . The waitress did everything she could to help . The manager came over with a weak apology .
Beautiful restaurant, but the waitress we had was very rude and disrespectful. Acted like she didn’t wanna serve us. We sat and waited for our check and we had to get up and ask to be checked out. T Didn’t check on us the whole time we were there. All she did was get us drinks and our order. Food was greasy and disgusting. Spent $40 on disgust. I’ll always stick with my Bob Evans. I will probably never come back here.
Classy place to get a great meal!
Owner has changed, need better chef which will have to be paid accordingly, no cutting corners to bring back lifetime customers.
Update 06/2025
First I tried contacting to ask a question via their website and FB messenger. I had no response from either one. If you offer a contact reference, it should be honored with a response.
Servers are in need of training. Polite but not professional. Handing food and drinks to another customer to pass is not acceptable, nor is handing a plate across the table over customer. Yes, we were a large party but seated at a long table.
The food was good, nothing special, but appropriate temperature and portions.
The owners will probably never even read this.
Yummy food
Building? Fantastic. Staff? Friendly and personable.
$2 upcharge for gluten-free bread? Highway robbery considering it's an upcharge from the brioche I'm already paying for and am not getting. It's even funnier when I'm pretty sure their burgers all have gluten from other sources, anyway.
Instead, I got the chicken burrito bowl. We're talking the white man's idea of mexican food. The chicken was excellent, a big, sliced-up slab of well-charred protein that took up most of the bowl, and the various toppings, sauces, veggies, and other bits were good.
But the rice.
Yes, I know mexican restaurants generally have bad rice, but this shit made that bad mexican rice look good. It was rice so white that corporate America declared it fit for putting in a bag and being sold as instant rice. It was the sort of rice a little old lady buys when the only rice she makes is once a year for rice pudding, the sort that cooks up with that cheap, half-cooked-before-you-put-it-in-the-water chalky starch between the grains.
THAT rice.
To make matters worse, THAT rice didn't so much as have a shake of salt or pepper in it. It was plain rice, to act as filler and filler alone, as though we were so north of the border that Berry's went over to Chipotle and wrote down what they saw.
But we're talking the white man's version of a rice bowl, so the idea of the rice needing to have its own flavor is... honestly somewhat irrelevant. Between the birria sauce- fatty and oily tasting- the sour cream, and the juice from the chicken, about half of that rice soaked up the flavor just fine. Were there less rice, it would have worked fine.
Alas, the rice was as populous as a city block in Jersey.
Considering the only good eats I've found in Norwalk so far are the pizza joints, this place is good enough for a return visit. Ready yourselves. I'll be wanting to go off the menu and request the chicken burrito bowl on fries instead of rice. You guys know how to season your fries.
Food was terrible
had an awesome and affordable breakfast here today. service was on point. Food was delicious. spoke to the owner when leaving to ask if the building is on the national historical registry. The remodel is stunning and felt as though we stepped into 1930's. Their baked goods are from Baker on the Square in Milan who use some grains from Farmer Jones. I love supporting local business. what a great find this was. 5 star plus
Food was on point. Very flavorful & good sized portions. The coffee was nice & strong with a good full flavor. Service was good with frequent checks to make sure everything is satisfactory. Prices weren't ridiculous & there was no waiting.
Fish and chips and the Mediterranean bowl were both delicious! The specialty bar drinks were good too! Really cool architecture and ceilings in the building!

Food wasn't great, overpriced for what I got. Not the best service. Sweet potato fries lacked flavor
Been to Berry’s several times and love it. Great atmosphere and service and the food is delicious. Love the decor. Highly recommend!!
Over priced Over cooked Horrible service This is my third try, will never visit again!!
This was our favorite restaurant. Our third bad experience in less than three months. Service horrible food was nearly cold. Waited at a table without a drink or a menu for over 15 min. Two couples ahead of us walked out. We should have too. The greeter finally brought us water and menu. A friendly server took our order and forgot our adult beverages plus never refilled our waters. Food came in a timely fashion but almost cold. Sadly we will not recommend or return.
Beautiful atmosphere and great food.
