Food is the worst. Fresh=frozen. Owner feels like a chef even though no culinary experience.
Great food! The kids absolutely loved their spaghetti bolognaise, and the crust on their pizza is incredible. Would recommend ?
Don't troll guys it has improved for real
The food was undercooked and very bland. Very poorly cooked. Joe should not be allowed in the kitchen or else this restaurant will turn into a bigger laughing stock than it already it.
I see trolls giving it 1 Star rating even when they have not even been here. They give 1 star just because of Kitchen Nightmare. I think this place has a different owner and people should actually try the food before rating this restaurant.
Well I can see that a lot of people here a trolling a restaurant they saw on tv. It's opened still to this day for a reason there clearly have been improvements. Don't ruin people's lives for a laugh online.
My experience at Mill Street Bistro was amazing. I'm from the Rocky Mountains so I love finding rocks in my food, Joe didn't let me down. I also am used to 100 degree+ weather so coming into Mill Street Bistro and being welcomed by Joe's warm fireplace was very comfortable. My family is half-wolf so we have really strong sharp fangs and razor sharp teeth for shredding meat, so Joe's tough elk really hit the spot. I will definitely be returning.
I was really hot outside ( 95 degrees ) and was so refreshed and relieved and refreshed to walk inside the bistro and stood in front of the welcoming fire. However I had to wait at the front desk for 30 minutes while the staff were conducting a loud meeting. I hope I didn’t disturb them too much. I hate to impose.
So my best friend, Skinny the Elk, and I decided to stop by this place for lunch the other day. Little did we know, we would be greeted by a mountain lion in the parking lot. Upon entry, the owner told me his entire life story. He explained to me that he was trained by old school Europeans and he brought said mountain lions back with him to keep the place fresh. He poured me a glass of water, and explained that they use rocks instead of ice. I thought that was strange, but I trusted him. I told him to give me the catch of the day. Perhaps he did not understand me, because the waitress did not bring fish to my table. Skinny and I were starving though, so we were ready to dig in. Little did I know, the owner served me ELK. HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE TOLD ME THAT SKINNY LOOKED LIKE THE BEST ELK HE HAD EVER TASTED. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE CANNIBALISM THAT COULD BE FOUND HERE. We left immediately and we will NOT be returning. I would give zero stars if I could.
I hope you could delete those bad reviews that are just lies based on something that Chef Ramsay said long ago on Kitchen Nightmares. I read that there's a new owner. I don't know why people is too quick to offend others and make them feel bad. I hope Joe is doing okay though. God bless this restaurant :) ♡ keep it up!!

I went to this restaurant only to find part of chef Ramsey's brain tumor trying to fix this place mixed with the rocks in my ravioli. I can't say I was entirely disappointed however, because the owner confronted me about this issue with his talking goat that told me, and I quote "this food was prepared with love in the kitchen, the same love that I share with my owner Joe." This touched me for how much compassion a man could have with his goat. I will give this place a three star review as I also witnessed a slaughtering of a live moose in the parking lot. Advertised as fresh, and that is not entirely incorrect.
Rating this a 5 star even though I’ve never been here. You read these reviews from the last 5/6 months that talk about items you saw on the show. With even the slightest bit of research you can find this restaurant changed owners way back in 2016 so these recent reviews that speak of these issues are all just no life with nothing better to do than make BS reviews in their spare time.
Food tasted decent. I would definitely try more off the menu, very fairly priced too.
