“Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! I think every employee came up to us throughout our dinner to greet us, ask if we needed anything, cleared plates, filled our cups, etc. Also, our server was very knowledgeable about what was and was not gluten free on their menu. Their gluten free bun for the burger is fantastic! Such a great atmosphere as well. Can’t wait to be back.”

“I absolutely love this place. I've been to other aladdin's before but I just love this one. The staff is awesome, the food is always fast and perfect. Perfectly cooked, exactly what we ordered, it's awesome. I drive 20 minutes just to come to this location even for carry out. Although it doesn't pertain to me, there is also ALOT of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options on them menu as well.”

“Well we had a fantastic pizza. It was the special of the night. Brisket or pulled pork, BBQ sauce, red onion, banana peppers & and couple different kind of cheese. We were underwhelmed by the size for $22. But i don't mind paying for good food. I do mind paying more than $2 each for tiny little wings that were not really crispy or meaty. My friend had a huge salad that looked great and he wolfed it down. The white zin wine was delightful. The service was poor but I still tipped decent because I understand that people have to make a living but I really wanted to tip less than 20%. The pizza was great but we probably won't eat in again.”

“1st time at 1833 Restaurant this past weekend. Met my friend after church for brunch. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was DIVINE! I loved this dish. My friend got the banana blueberry pancakes. She shared one with me. The pancakes were amazing as well. I also had a mimosa with my meal. The waitress was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice. Definitely will be back.”

“Not sure what expectations went unmet to earn. Three star rating for this small Mexican restaurant in Oberlin. Maybe service was inattentive, or the menu was too vast, but for my money, in a region of Mexican restaurants, this one stood out to me. Chips were most likely out of a bag came with a generous serving of salsa. Entrees were served hot and delicious. My chimichangas were delightfully tasty with a cream sauce and a requested verde sauce. The guacamole salad, rice and beans were light accompaniments to the tasty chimichangas. Although they sprang into the Mexican food vernacular from a Scottsdale, Arizona, Mexican restaurant, they can be found world wide including Mexico. The origin story I heard was that a few Chinese workers In Scottsdale were on their way to work eating these roll ups. The owner of a restaurant thought she heard them ask for another chimichanga. When she went to the family restaurant she experimented with roll ups and walla, the chimichanga was born. My wife ordered #53 steak tacos. Again, straight forward the soft taco was covered with garlicky seasoned and salted flank steak. Marinated meat, easy to chew and flavorful to boot, a home run. Their tall Pacifico beers come in chilled mugs with lime. A five star slightly bigger than a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, not too far from home. Ole!”

“This is specifically for the Subway in Oberlin, right next to Oberlin campus.First, and foremost, they offer the veggie patty on their menu. Not many Subway stores in northeast Ohio offer this.The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, and the store was exceptionally clean, especially for being next to a college campus. I've been to too many restaurants near college campuses that are filthy, and unkempt. (I'm looking at you, Columbus, Ohio)Great place to get a bite, and a friendly environment.Enjoy!!”

“A delight for all your senses! I was looking for a bakery that could satisfy that need for a mid afternoon pick-me-up and wow, have I found it. I’m partial to the cakes, but you can expect a lovely variety of treats each time you walk in. I can’t wait to see what they bake next! First visit getting a drink, and I’m happy to report the chai is refreshing. The shop itself is charming, staff is friendly, it’s just a downright nice place.”

You do not know her personally, and how much she cares about each and every one of her customers. The audacity you would have to make such a false claim, is astounding and childish. Slow train and The Local are both amazing shops that brings together people from all walks of life, and makes everyone feel good after entering and being in the atmosphere of the shops.
