Honestly, I never had the chance to go this restaurant. I planned a birthday party for my wife, and made reservations for 9 guests a month in advanced. The restaurant called me 3 hours before the scheduled party and cancelled my reservation. The Bistro claimed that the owner was having health issues and that the restaurant would reopen in a couple of weeks. The situation was unfortunate, but understandable. I'd like to give a shout out and a big thumbs up to Hyde Park in Crocker for accommodating us on such short notice.

This was our FIFTH attempt to go here in four months. Incredibly unprofessional to keep randomly closing. Call them and make sure they’re open before you go. After reading more recent reviews, I suspect that the “closings due to all employees being sick” or “closed because we have to train all new staff” may be due to how the staff may have been treated. Either way it’s a huge red flag all around.

Excellent atmosphere and food. There appeared to be some confusion among the servers on several occasions on issues I couldn't discern. Plus, they also appeared a bit harried at times too. As well, the service was a bit "uneven" on several occasions during the meal. And, more specifically, when my table was cleared between courses, silverware was not automatically replenished. Plus, there were noticeable gaps in getting my table cleared between courses.

We attended this restaurant for Mother’s Day last year. We noticed there were several items missing from the buffet than what was advertised. When we asked, they said they had more reservations than expected and had to cut items from the menu. To make matters worse, the price was more expensive than what was advertised. On a matter of principle, they should have dropped the price if anything- not raised it. Very expensive for mediocre food.

Owner and staff are amazing! But the show stealer is the food. Impeccable masterpiece of cuisine! It was more than dinner but a wonderful memory with fantastic food and service. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied.

I just saw the news that they bounce checks on there employees & they have to get a attorney to help them get there money. What a terrible thing to do. These owners should be ashamed to see there business on t.v. as being criminals. Shame on you people. I WOULD NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE. bunch of users & loosers.

Just left the worst dinner experience I have had in a long time. My husband and were excited to try this restaurant out and at first it was ok. Older decor small dated decor. The online menu is not the current menu, they need to update it. We ordered crab cakes and calamari . The calamari was good but the crab cake was very soft and very fishy. They did not have short ribs so I ordered chicken which came with risotto and my husband ordered the special which was walleye. My entree was terrible, the risotto was undercooked and the flavor was bland, the chicken was a breaded fried thin breast that was overcooked, my husband's walleye was also fried and greasy. I had no intention of complaining and was prepared to just pay the bill. However, the server asked why I did not eat my food. I told him I didn't care for it. He went on to tell me he had the same thing for dinner and I was wrong!!!! He called me sweetheart and continued to patronize me. I have never been treated like that by a server in my life. Terrible!!! Do not go there!!!!

Last few times we're been this winter we've had a reservation and have had to wait at least 45 minutes to get a table. Super annoying. And service does not improve once seated. Something has to change. One waiter for the entire restaurant when we were there. Food is good but not worth the wait. The staff is overloaded. Oh and they just seated two parties that arrived after us. A mess.

For the price I don't think the value is there. They also ran out of a few menu items we came there for such as the short rib. Service is good but not sure the food is worth the price.

Start to finish an excellent experience! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered between us a starter salad, lobster bisque, salmon and a shrimp/scallop dish and they did not disappoint. Our server, Billy, was attentive but not over-the-top and paced our meal perfectly.

Food was terrible, menu needs updated online. They were out of the short ribs so I ordered the chicken risotto dish. It was horrible. Server was so extremely rude and patronizing to me. Food is trash , place is outdated just like their plating. Go anywhere else you will be happy.

Went out for Valentine's day, the date ended up going not too great! First off, parking is not very accessible. Appetizer was the best item all night (Shrimp Tempura), however, needs way less red onion in the coleslaw. Gotta be careful with raw red onions! For the main dishes, they all had the same garnishing as the appetizer. Very odd to have balsamic vinaigrette on every dish I ate. Mashed potatoes were dry and lacked a velvety, creamy texture. Everything, and I mean everything was under seasoned, butter can only take you so far. Steak was cooked wrong twice in a row. Grits were monotonous and lackluster, also way too much on the plate. They prioritize quantity over quality. The hostess was lovely though Really had high expectations for this place. Definitely will not be returning, should have went to Applebees and got the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp!

We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time for a table, another hour after that for our food, were double-charged on our one cocktail each and then hit up with $4 surcharges for them to pour our vodkas from the bottle into our glasses. Tack on the $15 tax bill and my tab came close to $50 over the amount it should have been. The restaurant was understaffed, service was at a snail's pace and the recent significant price increases to every item on the menu turned our Valentine's Day celebration into sour grapes.

Cons: Tiny parking lot Reservation time was pushed by 30+ minutes. Side plates on table were dirty when we sat down. Pretty quiet place, so if you are a loud talker, your entire convo will be heard. Very pricy, but great for a night out / special occasion Menu is different online than in restaurant Pros: Kind employees Strong drinks Food was delicious and steak temp was perfect. (Appetizer, crab cake. Mains, salmon and steak. Dessert, cheesecake) Will be back!!
