Rude staff and unclear communication.
I reserved a room at Clementine‘s to throw my sister a baby shower. I’m from out of state and drove a day to get there.
The waiter was yelling at my elderly staff to shut the door. “For the love of god shut the door.” Was shouted in front of all my guest to an elderly family member who doesn’t speak English well. We had the room from 12 to 3 PM and at 2 o’clock the waiter started taking everybody’s drinks away. She was...read full review
My husband and I got in contact with Mike to cater our wedding food. He went above and beyond to work with our budget and made the most delicious pasta for our pasta bar! Our guest raved about how much they loved the food. A lot of them said it’s some of the best wedding food they’ve had. We appreciate you Mike and the staff for making it possible for our big day. Thank you!!!
We went on mother's day. it was a complete disaster. Waited 45 minutes for table even though I made a reservation. Waited another 45 minutes for high tea. No waiting room. Clementine's Victorian Restaurant is a charming eatery that offers lovely tea and delicious scones, creating a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of grandma's house with vintage furniture and teapots. Located in the Olmsted Historic District, it is surrounded by small shops selling ice cream, candles, and vintage items. The interior is country quaint, with seating on both the ground level and second floor. The menu includes tea, biscuits, soup, salads, and sandwiches, all well made and tasty. The staff, including friendly servers like Bri, are prompt and welcoming, and the owner is very kind and approachable. Guests have praised the high-quality, fresh, and homemade food, along with the good loose leaf tea selection, including favorites like the eggnog scone served with cream. Many visitors find it a perfect place for lunch or high tea, and it remains a popular spot for those seeking a cozy and friendly dining experience. However, it is not wheelchair accessible due to a step and cobblestone road outside. The restaurant's atmosphere and consistent good service make it a favorite for many visitors.
