First time at the restaurant. Had the worst service and worst food. Had to send back the hot and sour soup as it was cold. Took 20 min to get another. It was extremely spicy.
Ordered the Basil chicken dish and the chicken was so tough you could not chew it. Our friends had General Tso’s chicken and it was so tough they sent it back. Ordered garlic Chicken with white meat and the meat was tender, but the sauce was watery and not flavorful at all. Two pieces of carrot and some red pepper.
We asked for more rice as ours got cold waiting for our new chicken dish. Never got the rice. The waiter brought it with the check.
Ordered Jasmine tea. A pot of tea was $15.
Save your money! There are better choices out there for this type of food!!! Will not be back!!!

I definitely need to come back for the Dim Sum (Friday through Sunday during lunch). I ordered just a small happy hour portion of the Walnut Prawns and they were immaculate.
Food initially seems an bit pricy, but they give you massive portions big enough to share. Jonathan our server was great, and did inform me that the Happy Hour portions are smaller (shown below). Both my companions ordered full portions and they took home a box each.

I ordered through Uber and there isn't a spice option, so I called the restaurant, and requested spicy. I was not disappointed with the spice level or the quality of food. I got duck lettuce wraps and wow! So good I will be eating here again.

This is my first experience here, and I had Ferry as a server. We had a party of 10. Even though we love the food but for a restaurant that presents itself as nice and upscale, I expected the service to match. While I don’t mind the automatic 20% gratuity, the service didn’t reflect that charge. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive the attention we expected. Our table was barely checked on, and we had to ask multiple times for basic things like refill or utensils. On top of that, our server didn’t offer to box up our leftovers, though they did this for other tables. For a restaurant that adds a set gratuity, the service should be more consistent and attentive.

The fantastic Szechuan selection are varied and very intensely flavored. I can’t speak on how authentic the dishes are to their mainland Chinese counterparts, but they do taste very good. The servings are also massive, so keep that in mind if you’re dining there!

Fantastic Experience at Lao Sze Chuan!
I recently dined at Lao Sze Chuan, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure that every aspect of my meal was perfect. They took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that my dining experience was top-notch.
The food was incredible – every dish bursting with authentic flavors. The spicy Szechuan dishes were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor. The portions were generous, and each plate was a work of art. I highly recommend trying the Kung Pao chicken and the Honey Walnut Shrimp – both were absolute standouts! The sliced beef short rib was also delicious with its unique and flavorful black pepper coating.
The atmosphere added to the overall experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a cozy yet vibrant ambiance, making it a great place for both casual dining and special occasions. The lighting and décor created a welcoming, sophisticated vibe that elevated the dining experience.

Excellent experience last night. Josh was our server, and he was amazing. I initially gave the experience 9 stars out of 10 because I wanted my parents to join us. When the only criticism you can think of is that you wish more loved ones were with you to enjoy the experience, that is really a 10/10 experience.
We love the cozy, clean aesthetic that makes it feel like home, the attention to detail from the menus to the flatware, and the excellent service (including the bartender, who delivered an extra-strong strawberry mojito with such flair!)
The wonton soup is so rich, and I will definitely be ordering some takeout when the flu season comes around. The hand-made wontons are so delicious - slippery noodles that soak up the broth and with a perfect meaty center. We also ordered the wontons in chili oil. They have nailed the authentic textures and savory, comforting flavors of a home-cooked meal.
We loved our experience, and will be coming back!
We also got the chance to tour some of the private party rooms - they were lovely and even had a karaoke machine! This would be the perfect location to celebrate with family and friends!
