Oak and Embers Tavern Pinecrest

I gave Oak and Embers the benefit of the doubt. Service was good, but not impressed with the quality at the Pinecrest location. The best part of our meal was definitely the pulled pork. Still, even that was only average compared to other BBQ restaurants in the Cleveland area. Brisket was salty, cornbread was dry, and baked beans tasted stale. Unbelievable food, and atmosphere. I went here with my team and everything was incredible from the burnt ends, brisket nachos, crab cakes to the smoked wings, pulled pork sandwich, and ribs. Massive portions as well which I enjoyed. Whatever you get on the menu you will not be disappointed.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I do not eat meat however I heard that their side dishes were to die for. Although I went on a Saturday and expected for slower service, it took well over an hour for me to receive my food. I ordered shrimp and grits and my girlfriend ordered wings and a salad.
