Saucy Brew Works - Pinecrest

Ordered wings thru Uber. They handed my food to the driver in an unsecured container. No sticker/seal; not even a bag. So glad Uber refunded my money. All of the money spent on inflated prices and delivery fees, this restaurant can't even secure the food they're handing off to delivery drivers. Will never order from this place again.

The food is good. The wife and I order To go from here, I think it would be nice if they could add some sort of sticker or seal on the pizza boxes to ensure the delivery drivers are not tampering with the food!

Just went here and the service was terrible. It genuinely felt like the staff did not want to be there. A young woman took our order —no greeting, no acknowledgment, just an annoyed blank stare.

They also have no real ordering system. You order at the counter, they ask where you’re sitting, and then apparently don’t remember. We ordered appetizers and my friend ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The appetizers came out fairly quickly, but they were all gross and absolutely not worth what we paid.

An hour later, my friend’s sandwich still hadn’t come out. When we asked about it, we were told it must have gone to another table. A staff member said they’d remake it “in two minutes.” Twenty minutes later—still nothing. We had a baby with us, which made this even more frustrating.

My friend finally asked for it to be packed to go. When it was eventually brought out, there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no offer to comp or refund anything. The sandwich itself looked like a joke. When I asked for a refund, the response was literally, “I’ll ask?”

Accidents happen in restaurants—I was a server for ten years, I get it. But this wasn’t a mistake; it was complete indifference. Rude service, no accountability, and zero effort to make things right. Do not spend your money at a place where the staff clearly doesn’t care. This place should not be open.

Always has a fun selection of neat beers!

Ordered delivery and received tiny, underbaked pizzas. Asked for a refund and was refused. Loved the hinge town location but this is horrible. Went out for a frozen pizza instead of eating Saucy’s “pizza”.

Emailed as requested to no response. Would give 0 stars for terrible management and no follow through.

This particular branch at Pinecrest, Orange fraudulently charged my debit card. Three unauthorized charges they put on my bill. Good thing I checked my bank account a few days after. I had to go to my bank and dispute the charges which was so easy to see and figure out. Never coming back to this establishment. Watch your credit or debit card charges if you ever happen to venture into this one.

Not getting into the details of my experience, but it's been years since I originally posted and ratings are getting worse. Sitting at 3.7 stars at the time of this review, that's bad for any restaurant. Please go anywhere besides Pinecrest Saucy. Boycotting the company entirely since my Pinecrest visit and will celebrate when they finally close this location.

Visiting Cleveland from California for family and I'm staying nearby Pinecrest Mall. Stopped here while my girlfriend got her nails done at the spa a couple of doors down. The staff is friendly, the premises are clean, the beer is delicious with over 15 crafted choices. Ordered an appetizer of bread sticks and red sauce. Damn! That Saucy red sauce is so good I had to ask for more. Plenty of seating and looks like a good place to bring your kids.

A family favorite destination! Laid back atmosphere with walk up service. We love the pizza, and they make the actual best mac n cheese we have ever tasted!!!!!!! Go support local!

Tried emailing management to reconcile an issue first, but after a week of no response, I am writing a review instead.

My husband and I placed an online order through the website for salad, wings, and two pizzas that totaled a little over $50. When we got home with the order, we realized neither of the pizzas had cheese on it. I called and the pizza orders were remade. Though they had cheese, the order was again incorrect. One pizza was missing sausage and the other was supposed to be a cauliflower crust and was missing all of the toppings. As we were inconvenienced by having to come back to the restaurant to pickup the order, someone should have been even more attentive to ensuring they were correct. This did not happen and feels like a waste of money and time for us.

Save your money and time and get pizza from literally anywhere else.
