Did not get a chance to eat because we left. No hostess and line full of people. We ended up going to Buffalo Wild Wings instead.

Crab Mac and cheese is so good and their portions are pretty generous. Dinner with a view love this place!

Empty waterfront tables. Staff refused to let us sit there. Food very good. Pricey.

First, the restaurant does not stand alone but inside another on the park property. It's listed as The Dining Room, not by the name of the establishment. The appetizer came with no extra plates to share amongst the table and the sandwiches came out shortly after the appetizer arrived. The food was overpriced. The prime rib sandwich seemed to be reheated several times and dry. The salmon club was pretty good but I felt more bread than salmon. The iced tea was the weakest I have EVER seen. I couldn't drink it. At $4 a glass, unacceptable. For the money spent, very disappointed.

Very poor attitude. Restaurant was empty and would not sit us at 6:30.

We were turned away for having too big of a party. Two sections of the restaurant were empty, they wouldn't let us come in under smaller groups. Sheer laziness and incompetency. Do better, we paid to stay here.

FYI, party size was 18 and we came in 2.5 hours before close. No good reason in turning us away

Food was good but it's the little things that bug me!
Steak fries are $5.95 but if you add cheese bacon & jalapenos it's $9.00 more
A friend of mine orders the chef's special pizza a week ago ,it was $6 more and comes out with just pickles, I'm sure he could have ordered a cheese pizza add pickles and it would have been $6 less...

I got told the French onion soup was good here, it was anything but. Bland, not much beef flavor.
Got the feta dip, was also bland and they called the pita that came with it chips, but they were anything but a chip. I was expecting a crispy pita chip.
Got the rosemary chicken and it was okay. We also got the starvin arvin it was okay. The au ju was lacking the beef flavor again and the beef that was on the sandwich in my opinion was to crispy for me.
The place smelled like a dirty diaper and sewage when we walked in.
Server lacked attentiveness. My husband glass had lip stick lips on it and we didn't notice til the end of dinner. We paid $80 for dinner for two and was not pleased. I will not be returning. This restaurant is a ghost town on a Friday night and that should have said something. The food wasn't even picture worthy.

Tried to be seated on 10 /25 /24 at 6 pm. After waiting 15 min, was told they were too busy and told to come back later. Did not dine there that evening. On 10/26/24 did get seated easily for breakfast. Was disappointed in our meal. Unseasoned and bland. The best thing was our toast.

Breakfast. My oatmeal tasted like cardboard. Tried using some of the brown sugar that came with it but it was as hard as a rock. My husband had a fruit cup and bit into a Kalamata olive thinking it was a purple grape! That was a shock! They gave us a modest discount. (The OJ was the best part of our breakfast) Will never go back!

Our entire family HIGHLY RECOMMENDS Water's Edge Restaurant, especially if you are hosting a group. The management went out of their way to make sure we had a place that would accommodate our celebration and the restaurant even wanted to make sure attendees could handle two steps up to a special "loft" area. This section is fantastic for more private dining, yet all tables offer diners a waterfront view. Most importantly, our family...which includes some "fussy" eaters - all LOVED their meals. The preparations and presentations at Water's Edge are excellent. Many of us ordered walleye and my husband, who is a chef here in SC, insists that whenever we are anywhere near Toledo, we are stopping to enjoy it again. Salads and appetizers are huge and shareable. Several staff members were instrumental in making our mom's birthday celebration extra-special. We are grateful to the entire team, especially our server, Kyla, who handled our complex food & beverage requests with finesse - as well as Kim, Tina, & Todd. We will definitely return.

I had a bit of a challenging experience during my visit. I arrived for breakfast and waited around 10 minutes before being seated. Once I was sat, I noticed other guests roaming around waiting for a hostess as well. While I found the food to be somewhat overpriced for the portion sizes, it was decent. Since I was staying on the property, I thought I would give the restaurant another chance.

I ordered the mixed berry salad with grilled chicken and a side of fries, which came out to just over $21. The fries were okay, though not particularly the best.

Unfortunately, the chicken in the salad appeared to be still frozen. I was informed that this is how the chicken is typically served, but it had a rubbery texture and lacked flavor, so I opted to set it aside. Additionally, I found a whole head of lettuce (that seemed less than fresh) in my salad, which was disappointing.

Overall, my experience at Water’s Edge left much to be desired, and I would hesitate to recommend it for breakfast or lunch. I don’t think I have it in me to try again for dinner.

We went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning, it wasn't busy, but it took several minutes to get seated. Once we made it to a table we sat there for 40 minutes without even having a drink order taken. Most of the people at neighboring tables were in the same boat, though I saw one person get coffee and an apology about being understaffed. We had hungry kiddos so we finally just left. I can't say anything about the quality of the food but the menu was a bit overpriced.

I came to eat at the restaurant for breakfast. It wasn't overly busy but there were a few tables with other patrons. The host was pretty slow at sitting people and then it was almost five minutes or more before a waitress came over. I ordered coffee, wish they had flavored creamer but did not get any spoon to stir my coffee until I asked for one. When I ordered the Water's Edge which comes with two eggs off my choice, bacon or sausage, hash browns and toast. I ordered fried hard eggs, and a pancake on the side. She did not ask what kind of meat I wanted and I honestly forgot about it when placing my order. It took a little longer than I would think but it wasn't terrible wait. During my wait, she didn't come back to refill my coffee until my food came and then I had to ask for a refill. When my food came, I was given scrambled eggs, which ok I'm ok with those too but not what I asked for. They weren't very hot, warm to say the best. I then realized I had no ketchup, did not get my sausage because hey it wasn't ordered, dry toast with no butter or jelly. The pancake did not have butter either. So I had to stop another waitress to ask for my waitress because I didn't know how long it would be before I saw her again. When my waitress came back she brought me my sausage which again was hardly warm. I did get my jelly and ketchup but no butter. The food was just okay. Nothing to rave about.
My view was absolutely beautiful while I ate so that was a plus but the overall food and the attention to the small detail needs a little help. As a previous waitress I have a hard time when I have to ask for everything when some of it should be offered or just brought to the table automatically.
