The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I love that the proceeds go to help a family in need. The servers are all volunteer

My friend told me of this place, it was truly fantastic. The upstairs has the last supper mural. It's a big story you can read about. If your in the area , definitely stop in it won't disappoint. Will definitely go again when visiting my friend.

I hadn't heard of this place before, but stopped in for a business breakfast meeting. The building and dining space are quite beautiful the atmosphere is quit and relaxing. The breakfast food was standard diner fare, and although the portions were a bit small, the food was quite good. I'm not familiar with their mission, but it appears that the tips at least are donated to someone in need in the community.

What a great restaurant! The food was delicious (I had meatloaf, and an apple dumpling a la mode for dessert). Open airy dining room, friendly service, and a great ministry to boot. Go here, enjoy a great reasonably priced meal and leave a big tip because all the tips go to people outside the restaurant who need some help (August tips are going to a family who's Dad is in cancer treatments).

I have to give them credit. It seems to be an uncommonly well run place that would set itself apart even in a decent sized city. Unusually friendly, personable, and seemingly happy folks almost all around. I don’t know if they are just well trained, or really that happy all the time, but it makes for a very pleasant dining experience in either case. With the exception of the older gentleman behind the front counter (the owner?) every person I could see held rock-solid eye-contact with a smile during every interaction I could see. It was unusual. Fantastic training. Or hiring. Not sure which. I don’t think I would have noticed the older gentleman, as he was certainly not rude or anything like that. But by contrast to everyone else’s attentiveness and cheerfulness, which was so quick and so continual, it made his disinterested demeanor kind of stand out. Hoping he wasn’t the owner, but if he was…good training of your employees nonetheless. I would try to hire every one of them away, and at a premium, if I were running my own restaurant. My server seemed so happy I kept wondering if she had just been told a funny joke before she came out. Great service!
The food was decent. The selection was really quite decent with some unusual selections, too. The Pickle Pizza appetizer was surprisingly good. I might even drive out some weekend just to bring my wife for that one. The Shrimp & Grits were also quite good. The only thing I did not care for was the sweet tea. Tasted slightly rancid, and was definitely not a southern style sweet tea, but hey. It’s Ohio. I was just surprised they had it at all. Kudos!
The restaurant was very, very, very clean, and the locals obviously support the place. I can see why. The prices are entirely reasonable compared to what we typically see these days, and what you get for the price seemed more than fair. Especially for how polished the place is.
Obviously, they’ve gone to town with, and enjoyed, the Christian bent. Other than some interior marketing and menu item names, however, I didn’t see anything that made it stand out as a “ministry” place while I was there, in spite of the name. Not sure if they use the facility for some other kind of functions at times, or what, but I wandered in expecting something perhaps more overt. Don’t know what that might have been, but I didn’t see it. The whole Christian theme was neither pushed nor mentioned in my hearing, so I would think most anyone would be comfortable there, Christian or not. I am, and found it cute, but I’ve gone to places advertising varying beliefs far more than these folks did and have done so with no qualms, discomfort, or troubles. I thought it tasteful and fun.
They’ve earned their stars! Look forward to coming back.

We ordered an they were out of a few things on the menu we would have liked Ordered grilled barbecue meatloaf Sounded interesting since they didn't have what I originally wanted. When it came to the table It was only a square hamburger pattie ( made with only hamburger) with plain barbecue no onion no seasoning Dry The entree came with 2 sides which were just ok
I ask manager if I could replace the hamburger with just 1 chicken strip The answer was No If that was done I would have to pay full price of another entree average price $17.00 The waitress was pleasant atmosphere nice. Glad we used a gift certificate.

One of the most relaxing environment and unique experience
A must try for locals & out-of-towners. Great breakfast, lunches & dinners. A family favorite doing great things - much bigger than food.
Great place and atmosphere.
Love the mission of the restaurant.
