Usually, when you go to a local café, there’s either a bitter or a fake taste to their espresso drinks.Well Grounded’s latte did not Have that. It was delicious! My only critique is I wish I had a larger size than what I’m drinking. lol

This was my first time trying this little cafe and I really liked it. They have a quaint little side room with a tv and a wall fireplace that makes it cozy. I got the Mocha hot coffee and their BBQ chicken wrap that is very yummy!! The employees are really nice and all of them have smiles on their faces! I will definitely come back if I come through Ottawa again!! Highly recommend this place.

Well Grounded is my favorite local place with great coffee, treats, and very friendly staff! My only critique is that they have the least accommodating hours. They would get a lot more business than they already do if they stayed open later. Right now they're only open until 2pm and I pulled up, expecting them to be open at least a little later than that since they normally are, but was very disappointed when I realized they weren't. During the summer especially would be amazing for longer hours, but also if they were open even a few hours more than normal during the school year, they'd get more students in after practices/rehearsals. I've thought that even while being in high school myself. Again, I LOVE this place, but their hours are incredibly disappointing.

Today was my first time going here. I'm not big on coffee or coffee shops. However, this place is great. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. Drinks were delicious! Very charming little place. Will definitely recommend and add to my go to places. So if your looking for a very welcoming and positive atmosphere for your go to coffee shop this is the place.

I have been wanting to try this place out for quite some time now but unfortunately with the limited hours it is open and my work schedule, I have never had the opportunity.
Today I had the day off of work and told myself I was going to go and finally try it out.
I went with my usual choice of coffee drink, I get at every other coffee place… a Carmel Frappuccino.
When the coffee was brought out to me I already knew that I’d potentially be a bit disappointed cause it looked more like a vanilla milkshake, rather than that darker coffee look they’d typically be and to my dismay as I was trying it, it was definitely just a sweetened drink with no coffee taste whatsoever.
Now as much as I was disappointed today I’d still recommend this place.
1) The staff was very friendly.
2) I’ve heard good things about this place.
3) and I can’t say that I’ve never not had a bad drink at any other coffee shop and still enjoyed their coffee any other day.
So I hope this was just a fluke this time and they’ll rectify it going forward.
Also I know you can add an extra shot of expresso as well to each drink, but the drink by itself should still taste like coffee initially.
