Great spot with very competitive prices. 10/10 recommend especially the sushi which is very fresh and comparable to my experience with authentic sushi while in Japan. Have been coming here for years and will continue!

I wish I could post multiple reviews, because every single time I’ve been here the food has been excellent. The place is always packed, and it’s clear they’re doing great business—but unfortunately Google only lets me leave one review.

I cannot recommend this spot enough. Like I’ve mentioned before, I’ve eaten sushi all over the world and all across the United States, and this little hole-in-the-wall is honestly one of the premier sushi spots I’ve ever been to. The quality rivals what I’ve had in Japan and Korea. Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right.

The Wednesday sushi discounts are absolutely unbeatable, and the portions are massive every time. Whenever I’m back in Ohio, I have to come here—it’s basically a ritual at this point.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend changing much at all. If anything, maybe having a server or two with stronger English skills could help some older customers, but even then, the staff is incredibly kind and always does a great job.

A must-visit. Over and over again.

It might have been an off day, but our service was lacking and in particular, the person seemed untrained on the Japanese menu. Very difficult to get refills on drinks. Sushi was served without chopsticks and small dishes for soy sauce. Soup was spilled on the saucers and on the table and floor around the table by the server. It should have been obvious that we needed more napkins, but we had to hunt them down. After the appetizer course, it took nearly an hour to get our main courses and the restaurant was not really busy. You may want to skip ordering any dishes with shrimp, as they don't know how to properly clean out the veins. It's a real turn off when you see these black veins in the shrimp. Makes you wonder if they prep food properly in other ways. Well, it seems like I have a lot of complaints but this one is important. Do not let them seat you at a table across from the entry door. They get a lot of takeout orders and the door is constantly held open with cold air blasting in. Not sure how you can dine in that restaurant in the winter months unless you sit in the back of the restaurant.
