My husband got me a date nut cake today for my birthday, I always ask for date nut, our go to place is closed. The cake was light, a little dry, but not bad. I'm not sure what the icing is made with, no taste at all, almost marshmallowy. The icing was a huge disappointment, it ruined the entire cake.
I moved to the area about a year ago, and I get with my friends on a weekly basis. I wanted to surprise them with a nice treat one day, and I found this bakery. Not only were their pastries delicious (I primarily buy cannoli for them), but the staff is super kind and will chat with you about anything with a smile. I'm also excited to support a local business with a history within the community. To have my own, little, local patisserie I can support and buy quality treats...
Absolutely love this bakery! Some of the nicest people around. We ordered a Black Forest chocolate cake this past weekend for my wife’s and stepdads birthdays and it was sooo good and was a massive hit with everyone. Thank you so much! 😊
