I had the chicken and dumpling soup, and the dumplings were very tiny which I think we're actually spaetzle. The soup itself was very good and I also had the chicken cordon bleu and it was fresh, hot was delicious. I'm glad I asked for the cheese sauce on the side I didn't care for that as much, but you might like it. My daughter had the sauerbraten and although the meat was tender and lean, it was a bit too tangy for her. Our server was wonderful and she kindly offered to get her a different meal, which she did. And we were very satisfied. The service was very good our server was very attentive and polite.

Usually good, but our waitress tonight kept disappearing for a while. Empty glasses the entire meal with no refills, we'd see our food in the window and no one to deliver it. Food was good though.

My husband and I fantasize about das schnitzel haus all the time 😠the food is unbeatable and the servers are kind and efficient. You can make your stop there 30 minutes (yes- the food is ready that fast!) or three hours if you want to have drinks at the bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and home-like. Price is on point. Get the jager schnitzel!

Great place serving traditional schnitzel in multiple preparations. Casual dining with people of all ages and multiple rooms accommodating larger groups. This was my second time here and both times the waiters were great. As a former waiter and bartender I noticed them all joking and talking while cleaning and asking each other for help at tables which are all green flags. Commodity amount staff is a huge sign of working conditions and service. Plates were reasonability priced and slight alterations were accommodated. Get cheesy spaetzle (kasespaztle) so good.

Gluten-free friendly! I was very pleasantly surprised that when I was brought here with a large group, a schnitzel place of all places for a gluten-free person, the server knew exactly what it was and started giving menu recommendations! His suggestions ended up being very tasty - the chicken paprikash is typically thickened with flour but he asked to have it made without. Thankfully all of this is made in house so it isn't just a premade mix in a pack and they made my dish gluten free for me 😊 So tasty, and the servers so kind. The tavern atmosphere was wildly homey between the holiday decorations, christmas music (before thanksgiving), and all the warmth that kept making me think there was a blazing fireplace nearby. Thank you for the experience!

This place needs a deep clean! The bathroom which is a hint about the kitchen just needed a good clean. My food tasted like old frying grease. I had chicken schnitzel, it was fried in old oil. The service was the saving grace of the place.
