Went for the first time today. Fresh paczki's out of the oven in custard, raspberry and apricot flavors. Also picked up an assortment of chocolate cookies, lady fingers and a nut roll! Divine!! MUST GO!!!

Super authentic Ukrainian bakery, even down to the owner smoking in the shop while baking more paczkis. I didn’t want to wait an hour for the next batch so I picked out some mini eclairs. I only wanted 4 and he charged me $1. When I said I only had my card but could run out to the car to grab a dollar he let me have them for free and smiled. Super sweet, I’ll be going back hopefully when there are paczkis back on the shelves!

Do you feel heartbroken and helpless every time you turn on the news and hear what's going on overseas these days? One of many ways in which you can show support is to visit our neighbors who have all-too-personal ties to the situation in Ukraine. On this note, everyone who's from the Land knows that there's a huge Ukrainian Village in Parma - one of the biggest in Ohio, in fact - so I'm surprised that there are so few reviews for these businesses here on Yelp. One of the quality businesses along this stretch of State Road is the Kolos Andros bakery, which looks like it sells a huge variety of sweet treats - as long as you come first thing in the day for the best selection. When I stopped by in the late morning, I was able to score the last apricot paczki they had. For the unfamiliar, these are similar to large donuts bursting with fresh fruit filling. I also couldn't resist all of their macarons since they were only $1.25 each. Yes, you read that right - only $1.25 each! Although the macarons weren't necessarily as delicate as, say, those at Laduree or Pierre Herme in Paris, they were still satisfiably dense and chewy. Most importantly, they didn't fall apart in a flaky mess of air bubbles like so many amateurish versions do here in America. Service was super sweet and friendly, especially from a scruffy cute younger dude and someone who may have been his mom, who also runs the shop next door. At a time when it feels like the world is falling apart, it's great to support businesses like these that have real, personal connections to their homelands. Slava Ukraini!

I always like to shop small business and support them, but this owner right here didn't want to sell me some "donuts"... Yes it was already closed but he came at the door and talked with me, said he didn't want to serve me because it is closed!! Really(????)... it isn't my first time in his store... and he's the owner.Good to know from now on...

Their Paczki were great they tasted like my Grandma use to make and the pierogies were the best, I will definitely stop back the next time I’m in Cleveland!!
