Fat-Tuesday extravaganza! Best polish culture event have attended in years!
***( FOOD POISONED). My husband goes to their event every Fat Tuesday. This year he was so excited he got to meet kicking it with Kenny and everyone else and got interviewed and was on the news. When he went to order they didn’t have the ones he wanted so he got the breakfast one with sausage pepper and onions … he was only one to eat the sandwich and about 2 hours later started projectile vomiting. Ended up having to go to the emergency room because he was food poisoned( no not a stomach virus ) because he had to get cat scans and all these tests ran because he projectile vomiting for 8.5 hrs STRAIGHT. Not break for a breather anytime in between. Ended up getting 2 hernias from vomiting too much. stool cultures were sent out and due to those results and his white blood cells and other lab results off the damn charts he was food poisoned. And he’s works 3rd shift so he did not eat anything 12 hrs prior and only Rudy’s sandwich. 4 days later thank god he’s home and alive , but I hope to GOD nobody else got sick like that because I don’t wish that upon my worst enemy. We will NEVER be back to this establishment again.

We went to pick up paczkis, they move the line quickly and all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly!! We got multiple flavors of their paczkis and they were all amazing! Good prices! Parking is limited and the place isn’t super big so just keep in mind when you go!

Rudy's has hands down the best paczki in Cleveland. Not only do they offer all the traditional fillings, but they also have creative specialty flavors like blood orange mimosa, as well as savory ones like breakfast paczki. The shop itself has a classic old-school Cleveland charm and is well worth a visit.

I’ve been coming to this place for over 15 years and by far nobody makes pierogi, potatoe pancakes, and/or pastries better! I drove up today over a hour and they were sold out of Paczki.. whick isn’t a shock bc they are the best I’ve ever had!! Can’t say enough positives about the owner and the staff! Such a cool place! And authentic!

Pierogi's. So delicious, the best I have eaten in 50 years. The kolchgi were to die for.
I was banned from Rudy Strudel today by the owner for not complimenting her cake.
I went to Rudy strudel and the owner was walking out with a cake and standing in the doorway and said compliment my cake. I said I don't care about the cake I just want to come inside. I said could you come out. She said not until you compliment my cake. I said could you please come out. She said not till you compliment my cake. It was raining and I said I'm coming in and walked around her to get out of the rain.
I picked out my pastries and paid for them then the owner came over and told me not to come back to her store anymore.
It's pretty sad that she has to be praised for everything she does, she must have very low self-esteem. She was very rude and I feel sorry for her employees that have to work with her. It's sad these people get so high on themselves and have to put down their customers. It's her loss.
I would recommend going to Colozza's bakery, their personnel are very nice. Colozza's has the best butter cookies, lemon cannolis, and their date nut cupcakes and their cakes are to die for. They're almost like Baker's bakery date nut cakes. Delicious

I got banned from the store for not complimenting the owner on a cake.
I went to Rudy's strudel and they own him was walking out holding a cake and stood in the doorway and said compliment my cake, I said I really don't care about the cake I just want to go inside. she said not until you compliment my cake. it was raining so I told her I was coming in and I walked around her to get out of the rain.
I picked out my pastry and paid for it and then she came over and told me should appreciate it if I did not come back anymore.
it's pretty sad when she has to be praised on everything, you must have a low self-esteem. She was very rude and I feel sorry for the employees I have to work for her.

I would recommend going to Colozza's bakery instead, their personnel are much nicer.
I will contact 19 news and let them know how inappropriate this owner is.

The place is really small and seems unorganized. The bakery products we purchased were average, we bought perogies that I feel for the price could have been bigger in size and a bit more filling, we also got Baklava that was decent and kolachki that were under filled but the dough was excellent. I would go back to give it another chance for some donuts.
