We were part of a large party, and the servers were quick to bring chips, salsa, water, and appetizer dips. However, our main server took a VERY long time to finally take our orders. Everyone at our table got their food within 25 mins, except me and my husband. No one came out to acknowledge this, and I had to make eye contact with a server at the bar in order to get anyone's attention to let them know. When we finally did get our food, my husband said his BBQ tacos were delicious, but his rice and beans (which we had to remind her about) were cold. My chicken fajita taco salad was delicious but quite small, and I guess I thought there would be more lettuce. The taco shell was also overcooked.
We had clarified how the billing would be from the beginning, but our server did not seem to have paid attention to this.
Overall, I was not impressed enough to think about coming back. Food was better than the service.

Me and my family have been to Tlaquepaque in Pataskala several times and the food is delicious, the service is quick and the atmosphere is fine. I, honestly, have not had a so-so dish. The cuisine is some of the best I have enjoyed anywhere.

We’ve had dinner here 10-12 times and carryout twice. Food is always good, but some times are much more exceptional than others due to a bit of inconsistency in presentation/portions, as well some slight difficulty in conveying our requests due to the language barrier.
On our last visit, we did notice a bit of a discrepancy with our bill, as the amount originally presented on the check ($140 and change) was not the final amount ($145 and change) that my visa was billed, as a forgotten item was added on after my card was presented to the waitress. While I have no problem paying what is owed, I am disappointed that was done without telling me that she was adding it on.
Overall, it has always been a good experience and we will continue to visit because we love their food and think it’s significantly better than any other Mexican restaurant in the area.

My husband and I are really picky about our Mexican food. We just moved to Pataskala and are so happy this gem is 5 min away. Everything was great but I highly recommend the Molcajete!

I have lived in Columbus most of my life and tonight I tried Tlaquepaque for the first time. Truly some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Ordered take out, but the service was great and the quality of the food was exceptional. My wife and I each ordered a burrito and an order of the bean and cheese dip. Chips were fresh and the dip was delicious. Steak on both burritos was cooked perfectly and the veggies were fresh and delicious. Just an incredible experience. I will be back very soon.
Love this place. Incredible food, great service, surprisingly fancy drinks! - nice, relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the blown glass artwork as well!

Incredible! We have a family of 6 and not an ounce of food was left on the table. Everyone LOVED it. Blown away!! The fajita quesadilla and steak tacos were the favorites but there wasn’t anything that we ordered that we did not love. We will be back asap!
