I cannot recommend this place at all.
We had ordered a small order of French toast, an omelette with ham added and white toast, and a white star special which is eggs, wheat toast, sausage links, and home fries.
It took 30 minutes for the food to come out.
The French toast was burnt and the syrup it came with had the consistency of water.
The omelette was maybe slightly undercooked as the cheese wasn’t fully melted. Otherwise was fine.
The white star special came in two separate parts as at first only the eggs and the wheat toast came out. Whatever butter they used on the wheat toast tasted weirdly salty. Then finally the second half of it came out which was sausage links and a hashbrown which wasn’t what we ordered.
Wait staff are friendly but whoever was making breakfast was awful.

Abby’s place is great for a sit down meal! Sydney is always so friendly! Service is great, FAST and food is delicious. Glad to see it’s a favorite lunch spot in Peebles. Busy! Recommend the meatloaf and au gratin potatoes.

First time here and there was No indication to seat yourself and after being acknowledged as we entered we stood for more than 2 minutes and finally sat ourselves. We both ordered roast beef shots and I had the green beans added and he added a piece of blackberry pie to come with his food. Pie did not come with but that was ok. When he asked for it it still didn't come. He asked a third time and it was reheated soo long it was hotter than coming out oven fresh. Needless to say the pie tasted awful and he did not eat. The roast beef shots and the gravy were very good. The service and atmosphere made us feel uneasy. Server never checked on us and we had to flag her down for the pie twice. We were a couple of outsiders and truly felt out of our league coming here. Food is acceptable for me but I'm apparently not accepted at Abby's place unfortunately 😕

I don't usually review places i have not eaten in, however I am a little upset with this establishment. I had some leftovers my in-laws brought home from lunch and I got to eat it all. Thats why I feel my review is justified. My wife and I work regularly M-Saturday and often are looking for a great local place to have dinner. We live in Blue Creek and as all the other local people know there is basically nothing for choices anywhere close. 2 sit down restaurants in West Union, the Shawnee Lodge. And....nothing else. I don't want to drive an hour for dinner. When I enjoyed the leftovers I was extatic. They were amazingly delicious just re heated!!!!!!!! I would hit this place weekly for my dinner however......THEY ARE ONLY OPEN 9AM-2PM. Most normal folk can never eat here except on a weekend and well honestly I don't like wasting my time and money eating breakfast or lunch out. I bet this place would be packed nightly if they offered dinner service. Its a shame. I bet they are wonderful people and give great service however I won't ever experience that. Food was absolutely great and my father-in-law said it was so reasonably priced. If anyone out there knows any other places out here in the stix shout it outloud!!! And if anyone knows "Abby" suggest Thursday, Friday, Saturday for dinners. I heard the fried chicken is ridiculous..
