Not from Ohio but we were rolling though. Wasn't sure what to expect but this food was so good that I saved the pin on google maps. Everything was so crispy and my burger was dripping with juice. The prices were so good that I thought the online menu was YEARS out of date but it wasn't. Definitely the place you want to eat if you are in the area.
I was just driving through and decided to visit. This place is special and a true example of better times. Service was great, food was great, and the atmosphere was classic Americana.100% recommend

I stopped in on 12/21/23 at 5:30pm. It was close to closing time on the way back from Serpents Mound. We initially stopped in the pizza place next door but they were out of cheese ? but kindly recommended Mel’s. There was only one other table being served and they were almost done. We parked out front (I was traveling with my son and dog) and our cousin from Columbus drove down to say hi. We all ordered cheese burgers and fries and pink lemonade.
