This was my 1st time eating at Mel's. Even though there was only 1 server - she did an awesome job keeping up with everyone. I had breakfast - delicious! Biscuit and gravy was fantastic; nice and fluffy and full of sausage. I would most definitely try again!

Very good place to eat at in Peebles. I was impressed with how good the food was, prices, and the cleanliness of this restaurant. First time being in Peebles and decided to stop and try this place out. I wasn't disappointed, I would certainly go back!

I stopped in on 12/21/23 at 5:30pm. It was close to closing time on the way back from Serpents Mound. We initially stopped in the pizza place next door but they were out of cheese ? but kindly recommended Mel’s. There was only one other table being served and they were almost done. We parked out front (I was traveling with my son and dog) and our cousin from Columbus drove down to say hi. We all ordered cheese burgers and fries and pink lemonade. The staff were great and accommodating given hour of the day. They let us take our time and catch up. We had a heated debate about the way Ohio pizzerias cut their pies (I never knew there was anything other than triangle slices unless you’re having Sicilia). The food was great, the waitress was funny and we were very hungry.

Not from Ohio but we were rolling though. Wasn't sure what to expect but this food was so good that I saved the pin on google maps. Everything was so crispy and my burger was dripping with juice. The prices were so good that I thought the online menu was YEARS out of date but it wasn't. Definitely the place you want to eat if you are in the area.

Texas tenderloin is very tasty, perfectly cooked, and very large and a great price!
I ate the food too fast to take photos. The over easy eggs were perfect and the French toast was equally amazing.
