Good food for good prices. Definitely a country place with country cooking. Service was ok, atmosphere was full of the old time locals which meant everyone was chatting to everyone. Overall, enjoyed the meal, had charm from the country, and the price was right.

Wheelchair accessibility: My wife is in a wheelchair and she can get in and out just fine. I walk with arm cruches. And I can get around good, too.
This was my 1st time eating at Mel's. Even though there was only 1 server - she did an awesome job keeping up with everyone. I had breakfast - delicious! Biscuit and gravy was fantastic; nice and fluffy and full of sausage. I would most definitely try again!
