American Table Family Restaurant

the service was awesome. the food was nasty. I do not recommend the dinner menu.

This is our first visit to this American Table and soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner and seated immediately. Our waitress was timely, very courteous, modestly engaging and not at all intrusive. Our orders were brought out together and both were hot (and stayed hot throughout most of the meal.) For an appetizer my wife enjoyed the Cheddar & Broccoli soup while I thoroughly enjoyed the Cole Slaw which had the rarely found perfect balance of sweetness and vinegar. Our main course was delicious and portioned generously.

The restaurant itself is spacious, clean and well kept. The owner is friendly, kind and easy to converse with. The menu is large and the prices are pretty much the industry standard, but the quality of our overall experience exceeded our expectations. AND the gratuity was NOT automatically assumed on our bill. That's a huge plus in their favor.

All in all, we WILL return to American Table in Perrysburg.

I ordered a fruit platter, which includes fruit, cottage cheese and bread. I received an unreasonably small portion. Based on the price I would expect double what I got. Not only that, the fruit is poor quality canned fruit. I called to make a complaint and the person I spoke to was rude and did not make an attempt to resolve the situation whatsoever.

I had a horrible experience out to eat with our waitress, i believe shelly was her name. We waited an unusually long time for her to greet us, and when she finally did, she seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly.

Throughout our meal, it felt like she spent more time at the register than actually tending to the tables. We struggled to get her attention for even basic requests, which made our time there quite frustrating. The food came out cold as if it sat in the window forever but still forced it down seeing as we weren’t going to get help with fixing it. We’ve come there a few times and had other wonderful servers and dinner but today unfortunately was the worst.

Overall, the lack of attentiveness and warmth in her service impacted our dining experience negatively. Do better!

The food was absolutely delicious and the server we had was so friendly! Our first time coming to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and we WILL be coming back. Highly recommend the french toast platter and the breakfast house special! So much food for a reasonable price!

You need to be very hungry. Food is good but if you do not take what is included on the dinner selection the price does not change. For me it's too much. I'm not a leftover person. It would be nice to make a price difference. Specials are listed but they are the same price as listed on the menu. Too many options on the board to be specials for the day.

Nice place food came out quickly and correct. Server had too many tables, they were too busy to get us our check when we finished eating. The server did do a great job, they just had too many tables.

Service fast and friendly, huge menu, great food! I'm partial to a good mushroom cheeseburger, this is one of the better ones around. The soups are also wholesome and tasty (cabbage was offered today).

Nice spot for a meal. Clean, good food, great service from Charity. Will be coming again next time I'm in Perrysburg.
