Chayhana is located right off of I-80 with plenty of parking and is open from morning until midnight, making it super convenient for travelers. The food is always delicious, rich, and fresh! I highly recommend the laghman and plov, but the veggie dishes (like carrot salad), dumplings, cabbage rolls, and soups are excellent as well.

Visited on the way back from Kalahari on a Friends recommendation. Wanted to try Uzbek food after seeing it on youtube.
Ordered Plov, Manti, Chicken Kebab and Beef Pita Wrap. Food was excellent. I think Chicken kebab was a surprise hit. I've not eaten such well balanced, prefectly BBq'd soft and marinated cubes of chicken before. Plov was great and so was Manti and the Pita Wrap. I wish they served the pita wrap in the thick pita bread (Greek style) instead of the thinner middle eastern style. That would take it to another level.
My biggest complain is the serving size. For the amount being charged for each dish the serving size is just not good. Biggest stand out is the Uzbek plov. The quantity is more akin to a starter than a main entree. It just does not cut it. They need to do something about it.
Also would like to mention that the staff is very polite and courteous. They did not charge us for the water bottles and the 2 soda cans. Great service.

Refitted fast food place that is now served by wait staff. They were already out of a few of the items that we tried to order. That just means that this is real food cooked in house. We ordered Uyghur jiz, mastava soup and beef dumplings which were fantastic. Lamb kazan kebab fell off the bone. We will definitely come again if we are in the area!

I couldn’t believe my luck to find such an authentic delicious Uzbek food in the middle of Petersburg Ohio. I was on a work trip from Vancouver Canada and unfortunately we don’t have places like that in my city. I will be going to Chayhana every work trip I take here from now on. I brought a co worker who also loved sampling all the delicacies. Thank you for this awesome experience! And it’s extremely affordable too!

Amazing Authentic Uzbek Cuisine in Toledo, OH! 🇺🇿🇺🇸
I recently brought several of my American colleagues here to introduce them to authentic Uzbek food, and everyone absolutely loved it. We ordered Plov, Traditional and Qovurma Lagman, Samsa, Bread, Hot tea, Fruit Compot. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and truly reminded me of home. The service was warm and attentive, and the staff and Akrom Aka made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. This is the place for sharing traditional meals with friends and colleagues. My group was impressed that they said they will definitely be coming back.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience real Uzbek cuisine in Toledo, Ohio. A wonderful place with great food, great people, and a great vibe! P.S. +5 for the background traditional music))
