The food was great, margaritas on point, Wait staff was very friendly food came out fast. Got the al pastor street tacos and the tropical fajitas, both were a step up from usual Mexican restaurant fare. Also got the patron margaritas which are also great, but the golden margaritas are equally as good... you can sit inside or outside, chips and great garlickey salsa are complimentary. What else can you ask for?

Wow! Really delicious food — one of the better plates of fajitas I’ve had in a long time. The portion was generous, and everything from the chips and salsa to the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Cocina De Carlos if you’re craving great Mexican food

Absolutely phenomenal service and atmosphere. Owned by a fabulous family as well.
Food was very good. Bar area did smell a bit like spilled beer, but they moved us immediately upon request before even sitting down. Staff is friendly and attentive.

I used to love this place. The last couple times we've eaten here it was not good. The fajita meat (steak and chicken) was pieces and parts with no seasoning. The drinks were way too strong. I like a solid drink but not straight liquor. We had to send the queso back because or was so cold. It's a shame because I used to rave about how good it was.
