Today, I decided to sit down and really give Deets an honest review. I've worked with the owners wife before, so I thought I'd give this a real try. I got the family sampler with pulled pork and brisket as my meats with mixed sweet & spicy as my sauce. My sides were mac & cheese and the baked beans. Included was the corn bread and slices of bread.Let's start with the meats.Pulled Pork: Meat itself isn't dry, isn't soggy, but just right. Now I am not a pulled pork alone type of person. I need to add the sauce and the mixed sweet & spicy bbq sauce is awesome with this. A beautiful slap of hot in the face and when swallowed nothing but sweet. Doesn't burn, doesn't make your eyes water, but allows you to appreciate the hot still. Beautiful.Brisket: The first thing that smacks my taste buds, is that smoked flavor. God damn, is it strong and reminds me of cooking on a camp fire in the great outdoors. Nothing but fall off the bone potential here with bits of fat that are to die for. Not chewy, but wet as can be. Again, that sauce just compliments it so well.Mac & cheese: Now, I was intrigued here. Mac can be very very hit or miss at establishments. Deets on the other hand nailed it. This mac has a taste that just keeps you coming back. I believe it's shaved jalapeño, but I could be wrong. Most macs sauce is a tad too thick and almost "sticky," while deets has more of a saucey cheese to it. It's to die for.Baked beans: Here is where I was disappointed. I got the brisket baked beans and it was a let down. They kinda just tasted straight out of a can. They weren't awful, don't get me wrong... they just didn't live up to the hype of everything else around it. It was boring.. it didn't have anything that said, "Hey! We really thought about what we're doing here!" Corn bread: There's no words here to describe what you're about to place onto your taste buds. Best thing on the whole menu. For the love of god, put their butter on these. They aren't dry, but if you eat these without the butter, you're doing yourself a giant disservice. Just order, please. Overall the restaurants always are clean, look modern, and the staff is always patient & respectful.
Deets BBQ recently catered our wedding two weeks ago and I couldn’t POSSIBLY be more impressed! We had them cater through their super fun food truck and they got 130 people through the truck seamlessly and quickly. We just got back from our honeymoon to a TON of messages raving about the food! Trevor and his team went above and above for us and I would definitely recommend them to absolutely everyone! It’s pretty expensive but the food and service make up for it. Ribs were tender and full of flavor, really good green beans! Helpful cashier explained the menu and was patient. Worth a second visit!

Keeping it three stars due to great service and speed. The flavors were kind of bland. The potato salad had way too much vinegar taste to it. That may be the way they make it, which is awesome. the cornbread was very tasty!

I was dreading it because it was a 4.0 rating and some people really harsh on it but I like the ribs. They were good with the sweet barbecue sauce. Tender cook just right. Colesaw was very good. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Service was fast. Staff was nice. I had nothing else wrong with it so I gave it a five star

Highly disappointed. Brisket was fatty and tasted of "lighter fluid" baked beans had same taste. Fiancée had chicken. It was ok. Mac and cheese and cornbread best part. Won't be back. Overrated.

Pretty disappointing experience got the beef brisket nachos hardly any meat on them at all and virtually no queso for $15 so I paid $15 for bare nachos with lettuce and onion!!

I think it’s ridiculous that bulk orders do not get bbq sauce for the meats and no butter for the cornbread. If you come in and buy a single serving of meat you get sauce free of charge and butter with your cornbread but have to pay extra if you buy in bulk? I spent over $75 for meat and cornbread for a birthday party, but was told I had to pay extra (another $5.50) for a little tub of sauce that was barely enough for a pound of meat, let alone 4 pounds, which is what I bought. Raise the price on the bulk items a little and give sauce with it automatically, who eats dry meats? Is the sauce that much more expensive that it can’t be provided in a $75 order? Very disappointed. Food is good, service is not so good. Less hassle in the future or you’ll lose my business. And I’m a long time customer. But first time dealing with a bulk order.
