Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Dickey's BBQ Pit catered our event of 500 people on Sunday, August 31. The food was outstanding and still hot when they delivered it to Carter Park in Bowling Green. We ordered sliced chicken and pulled pork for our 500 attendees. Both were moist and delicious! Because of a fire at the Perrysburg store, they had to do all the prepping and cooking at their Dundee store and deliver from there, as well. The owners, Steve and his wife, were so wonderful to work with. They are very friendly and eager to please. I would give them more stars if I could! Do yourself and favor and use them for your catering needs! You won't be disappointed!

Only problem was the young lady working was all alone her co worker had left.
She did a great job but it took a bit longer than it should have.

My family and I are visiting from the Caribbean and we loved the food here. My granddaughter especially enjoyed the Dino nuggets so much that we came back. Great service! Great people!

We had a great experience with all the staff when we went in for dinner on 7/5/25! The guy working the line was especially nice! I had to wait a bit for my chicken to cook and he personally brought it to our table when it was ready and gave me an approximate time for when it would be ready! Just going above and beyond :)

5-Star Review – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Perrysburg, OH

I stopped in while visiting from Chicago and had a truly satisfying experience at this Dickey’s location. I ordered the children’s portion of pork ribs with a side of fried okra — not only do I prefer smaller servings, but I’ve found it helps keep me both mentally and physically balanced.

The pork ribs were coated in their Nashville hot sauce, offering a compatible tang and a well-developed flavor. The meat was tender, generous on the bite, and had a satisfying lean chew that didn’t feel overly fatty.

The fried okra side held its own all the way through — crispy, warm, and textured right to the last pod slice. While a soft bread roll came with the meal, I chose to savor every last bite of the okra instead.

Shoutout to Cassandra H. at the register and the gentleman behind the counter — they made the visit feel warm and welcoming. Their teamwork, speed, and lighthearted interaction added to the experience. I even joked with him about being the guy in their in-house video prepping meats. (He wasn’t, but we both agreed he could be.)

The location is conveniently nestled near several well-established hotels, making it an easy dinner spot for travelers. I’m grateful I wandered in. A wonderful, comforting meal with kind people — just the kind of pause I needed in the midst of travel.

Absolutely a return visit when I'm next in the area.

We had visited the Perrysburg store and the food was so good we had Dickey's cater our wedding reception. The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal! The owner was very easy to work with and the portions were generous. They delivered the food and set up quickly at just the right moment. We would definitely use them again for catering and the occasional dinner out!

My last experience was not so good, but this visit did not disappoint.

Great guys. Owner is a vet. Very military friendly. Great food. Highly recommend. They also operate wing boss.
