A nice place to get a beer flight in Toledo!
Great location, horrible beer. I love the atmosphere at GBS, but don't tend to go back there too much as their brews are quite awful. The fact that they've had to resort to bringing in other domestic beers, and liquor to a brewery should show you that people aren't going thee for the beer they brew. If they were open to trying new recipes and changing things up for the better this place would thrive. I hope they make a change sooner rather than later.
A wide variey of drinks and entertainment options
All beer on tap is very good and refreshing. The perfect spot to hang out with friends. Definitely recommend!

Beers are bad - River water?
Tried the Pils and the Pale Ale, not good!
Went on an ideal weather Sunday. The imperial Dark N Dirty stout (9.5%) brewed by Tom head brewer. The maltiness was perfect.
Also the staff were very helpful and suggested other cool breweries to visit while in the Glass City. Would gladly recommend!
First time in Toledo and hands down the best brewed beer I have ever had, the Summer Slam IPA is the best citrus beer I have ever had. I would recommend this beer 100% to anyone who loves a citrus beer. Great atmosphere, people and service. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Tom is a seasoned brewer and knows what he is doing. I recommend getting a case to bring back home as well!
Lively and warm atmosphere
We had a 15+ person party at Great Black Swamp Brewing this past Saturday. The bartending staff was top-notch and the owners were extremely accommodating.
Highly recommended for any events or just a quick beer.

My husband and I love going to Great Black Swamp. The atmosphere is fun, the beer is good and the bartenders are super friendly. The only criticism we would give is the beer is room temperature and almost always flat! We go here a few times a year hoping they improve the beer experience (cold and fresh)!!! We will still support this business. Just wish they had a comment box in house that we could reply to!!!
Worst service I've had. This is my second time going. Slow inattentive staff that can't get orders right, but spent too much time talking. We weren't even greet and waited almost 10 minutes before I spoke to anyone.
